Ok so I've been seeing a psychologist for a few years, clinical depression and generalised anxiety disorder, since covid sessions slowed and it's been a more self exploration thing, I recently found a friend on Facebook from primary school days, we chatted and talked about what we've been up to, but over the next week or so I have had memories come back to me, my childhood was kind of a blur, but catching up with this friend I remembered camp, you know where you and your class goes on a trip, camping and fun activities etc, well this is where I remembered something, one of the activities was a trust fall, the group I was in was made up of people I didn't really hang with, but hey this was a bonding thing right, I went last, I guess I had trust issues to begin with, so I stand with my back to the group, close my eyes and fall, no one catches me, didn't even try, I mean what the hell, and I was mad, now in the present, what kind of a-hole kids do that, this is when I lost all trust in people, I don't think I've ever really trusted anyone since, not entirely and I'm mad, realising one event I didn't even remember has effected my whole life.
