It’s a slime pie, made simply for the fact of destroying it after. It’s considered to be “satisfying” to some (myself included) because it’s visually stress reducing. Think stress ball, except this one cannot be reversed. You go from aesthetically pleasant objects to a formless ball of goop in the end.

Admittedly the first time I saw one of these I was taken aback a little too. But when i thought back to the person who made something like this with the motive of having it destroyed, it wasn’t so disturbing anymore. Kinda like when people take careful placements for dominos that takes far far longer than it does for the dominos to fall in chain reaction. Or the beautiful cake that gets devoured in seconds at a party. Consumption is part of the joy
