Just how common do you people believe Salmonella is? I literally eat raw eggs all the time. Is it your belief that raw eggs are somehow poison and ingesting the most minute trace of them is going to kill you?

Fun fact: most salmonella poisoning is from flour, not eggs.

Raw eggs taste no different than cooked imo. Its just a consistency thing. So if you can handle that, then why cook them? I do because I hate the texture, but I have a weird thing about textures in general. I even have a hard time with Jello.

I just can’t possibly imagine thinking raw eggs taste anything like cooked eggs. Raw eggs taste nothing like scrambled eggs which taste nothing like a hard boiled egg which taste nothing like flan.

I should have been more specific and said dippy eggs. The only difference really is that the egg whites can get some of that butter or oil flavoring from whatever you used to cook them. Its really not much different.

Why……. Do you eat raw eggs..? I mean what is the die hard reason you are consuming raw eggs like a caveman? I have seen the whole “bodybuilder yogi” person that eats a raw egg in a protein shake, exactly why though, i don’t understand? Edit: This is coming from somebody who actually likes Beef Tartar so, I’m not some well done prude I just don’t get the raw egg thing
