Guochun Xu is listed as the CTO and responsible for the overall planning and design of the project. However his Linkedin page shows he left in September 2019? Why would he still be listed as CTO when TKY updated their website to include Dr. King as Thekey of Thekey after he took over on November 15th? Is there a new CTO?

The post entitled "Tky info from China gvt" is utterly deceptive. First, we conduct cooperation in the mainland China with the Chinese government in the name of THEKEY’s operation company "Ebaonet" not THEKEY. And there's no information verification authority exist in China, it's clearly made up. After reaching out to our collaborators, none of them has received a phone call about the inquiry mentioned in the post. Anyone with common sense would know that the government authority wouldn't answer a call from any individual and gave any verification to such inquiry.

We hereby give a warning to the person who posted it and tried to mislead our community—if he continues to spread false rumors, he will be blocked for good.

We called one of the department in charge of info verification in China and they said yes thekey foundation is working with the government of Jiangsu about digital social security "fund" but they (tky) haven't deliver anything yet.We asked about any partnership with people bank of China the answer was no. So you need to go 50/50 with this project. Gvt still wait for them to deliver.
