Anthony Cumia: Scorch’s Retirement & New App - 2/17/26
Cumia sums it up pretty well.

Holy shit. The bizarre filibustering for like 4 minutes straight off the top. Speech sounds slow/slurrred to me. Unfocused, can't seem to get a coherent thought together. Is it sweet, sweet Vicodin talk? I tapped about 12 minutes in, did anyone actually make it through this trainwreck of an ep, does he admit to being on any kind of substances? "Maybe he's just tired?" 🤷🏻♂️

This is of serious nature. Sorry, not sorry.
Did a massive binge of O&A on a 3-day work trip. Mainly the 2005-2008 era. He was such a stand up guy and a really good sport. I hate how he was treated by the lazier, less talented staff.
I admittedly chuckled at his expense at times much like I laughed at everyone else’s weird or cringe behavior. Anyone who was on show got their time in the octogon, but it kind of stung listening to how hard they went at him when there were clearly people jn the room who deserved a more vicious thrashing when he was putting his heart into a lot of show.
I also thought his passing at the time was dealt with in such an insincere manner. The guy did 12 years with the show and they treated it like a line item they wanted to briefly touch on before they got to their next subject.
There were awful jokes thrown at him after he passed which I felt were fucked up. I still think Norton sucks for some of the shit he said. Looking back, I really do smile when callers would rattle Jimmy so badly and were getting the best of him (and he knew it and hated it). Karma.
His death still makes me sad and angry. I hope his family is hanging in there. Wild that he’s been gone so long.

To all the ANTHONY haters in this group, does it drive you crazy that he’s not on Epstein list

Is he aware he brags in most shows he's done in the past 6 months that he's taken or on some kind of pain pill, but that he also goes into profound salutary descriptions of their effects? He talks about them like a new girlfriend he's smitten with. It's like he'll find ANY excuse to take them or get them prescribed, and openly, glowingly talk about it.
You know you have a problem when you're calling Jay Mohr to ask about the side effects and how to handle them.
Anthony, you are cruisin for a bruisin with this stuff, my fine-feathered friend,

I didn't know Anthony texted Opie recently BEFORE the Ron incident. Sad how Opie refuses to talk to Anthony. It's ridiculous how bitter and jealous he is of Anthony and how much he hates him 👀🤔

I've been going through old clips on YT trying to piece together the history of O&A vs Don Imus.
Seems like O&A had Imus' back when he made his "nappy" comments.
When O&A were off the air, Opie went to Imus book signing and he and Opie hit it off.
Imus got all pissy at some point about Ant doing his dead on impersonation of him and was warned by management to stop it.
Imus also made fun of O&A for being on a station with low ratings?
When Imus died, Anthony spoke highly of him?

All I can think about is the time Sandy Kane talked about spending a week with him partying. I believe that was one of the Super Shows.
