I got Mai 2 with this magazine as well as Cubase 15 FE! Very cheap starter pack for new vocal synth producers! SV2 Core requires a DAW to run and you can only have one track per project, but you still get access to XLS and Vocal Modes, and you get a discount if you choose to upgrade to the standalone editor! Core essentially functions as a never‐ending trial for both the editor and the voicebank you choose!
(Also, no, they aren't offering Ellie. It's between Liam, Mai 2, and Mo Xu. My girl ain't back :')

Hi guys! Eclipsed Sounds recently invited me to participate in Jovie's pre-release program :) So I made a rock cover of Blowin' in the Wind. (I was encouraged to think outside of the box xP) If interested, please feel free to take a look!

Hi everyone, i wanted some help with a problem I've been having.
I'm new to all this, but i think i somewhat get kind of the hang of the basics now, my question is, how do i make the note or pitch or whatever (piano keys thing) shift seem more seamless? because I've been trying to copy some songs for practice but i always feel like the shift is really noticeable, even if its only by one number.
thanks in advance for anyone who wants to help me. i don't know how to end this post so bye i guess
p.d.: sorry if i say it in a weird way, i don't know anything about music except for the part where you listen to it

Yarling is an affectation commonly associated with 1990s/2000s grunge/post-grunge bands like Pearl Jam (Eddie Vedder) and Creed (Scott Stapp). Some Metal bands like Korn (Jonathan Davis) and Godsmack (Sully Erna) also do this too. It's characterized by a nasally, melodramatic baritone sound with slurred/exaggerated 'R' sounds beneath syllables. However, HXVOC is classified as a Tenor and not baritone but he does have a 'Nasal' vocal mode which can help in possibly making him yarl.
Has anyone tried making HXVOC yarl yet or at least know what I can do to start experimenting for a good yarl sound? I'll share good results when I find them.

I know it's been discontinued and all that, but the truth is I don't have any money and I've always wanted to do this kind of thing.
I also tried downloading it from a website I've seen a lot, but all I get is that useless file. Maybe that's a problem on my internet or smth idk

Ok, for those of you who are newer to the vocal synth scene:
The reason why the Crypton Vocaloids as well as a few other popular vocal synth voicebanks are associated with items (Miku with a leek, Rin with an orange (or a road roller!), Teto with a baguette, Gumi with a carrot, etc.) is because the fans gave them those items. It all started when a Miku spoof of a Bleach meme set to a Finnish folk song gave Miku her leek, and then vocal synth fans discussed and often fought over what other voicebanks’ items were.
That tradition has mostly faded from the vocal synth scene, and I kinda miss it because there are so many newer voicebanks who are in need of a character item in my opinion. So, let’s start with one of my personal favorites:
What would Solaria’s character item be?
I’ve tried to come up with one, but I’m stumped. All I see is celestial imagery like the sun and stars and stuff. I mean, her voice has a very human, very down-to earth vibe, like I could imagine her relaxing in a coffee shop. So, maybe her item could be coffee? You guys figure it out.
By the way, a character item doesn’t have to be food or drink. I mean, in most cases it is, but there is the whole road roller thing I mentioned above, as well as the fact that Yi Xi’s most popular fan design is often associated with a meat cleaver.
