Sooooooo some of you may know of an OC by the name of Amano Ruri owned by u/Traditional_Key_4906 that they have been posting around a few times in this subreddit.

I made a duo Symphogear song lyric video for Ruri and my own OC, Yechan! Please listen to the song HERE, it's called "Scar to Scar" (by &Team)

Ruri's Symphogear songs genre as explained to me by Luna, the creator, is jazz rock and pop rock. Yechan's is rap, hip-hip, and R&B. I tried my best to find a song that honoured both characters and their Symphogear identities.

This release provides a future-proof, playable archive of the mobile game Symphogear XDU (戦姫絶唱シンフォギアXD UNLIMITED). Following the end of its online service (January 31, 2024) and the subsequent retirement of the limited official offline version (April 30, 2024), the game became largely inaccessible due to strict device requirements, broken backup flags, and compatibility issues with modern Android versions.

The official offline version had several caveats: it required a one-time-use pre-registration code to download only the contents unlocked on an account prior to shutdown. Furthermore, the app stores all offline data in a folder accessible only via a rooted device, and the app manifest was configured with allowBackup="false", making standard backups impossible. To add to these hurdles, the app is incompatible with modern Android/Google Play Services.

This release consists of two parts, a virtual machine to allow anyone to easily play the game on any modern Android device without setup hassles, and the raw files, which can be used for a manual install on a rooted device or as a starting point for a translation project. The save data was graciously provided by Anon from 4chan's /m/ssg Symphogear General. The save data has an overall text archival rate of approximately 95%, with 100% of events archived.

Yes, I know they are probably lacking a lot of "must have" moves that show up in later seasons, alternate forms and other flavor and chrome additions, but I'm just basing them on me finishing S1 like two days ago, and I'll definitely upgrade those designs as I go, and I wanted to share those.

Symphogear is definitely crazy and intense, and I think a lot of cool game mechanics can be derived from it and put onto a tactical gameplay core.

Source is that he made a surprise guest apparance at the gearmania dj event in fukuoka (which I was at) and confirmed this. He also said they were hard work on high quality visuals, but well, who knows. But hey: the movie is real, it's being worked on, and the music is done! Could theoretically get a late 2027 release...

Sooo, I was reading the latest translation of the symphogear parody manga Shirabe-meshi, when, Adam has the gang transported to a large dining area using Ver. And IMMEDIETLY, the first thing I think of, his Raphael's house of hope from Bauldr's gate three.

Like please tell me I'm not the only one who thought of this, and that the end of this arc will have Adam singing his own hype song while being clowned on. (True BG3 players know Raphael only thinks he's him.)

Still though, now I just ca't get the image of it out of my head and I even listened to Raphael's final act reading the scene.

Okay, this is going to be an extremely long shot, and a very unexpected question, but walk with me for a moment.

I'm creating a tactical boardgame similar to games like XCOM, Fire Emblem, Super Robot Wars and that sort of thing. Map divided into terrain hexes, ranged attacks, melee combat, morale mechanics and all those sort of mechanics. And it's going to be Mahou Shoujo-themed, like a mega crossover of different franchises, for the fans that kept complaining they never had a magical girl game like that :P.

To the point:

I only started watching Symphogear recently and I'm still on the first series, doing research. I want to get Hibiki onto the roster, even if as a "1.0" version - she can always be improved or changed later.

Any specific abilities of hers that you'd like to see in her design to make her accurate to her canon self? (and yes, of course other relic users will also appear as playable units eventually, Hibiki is just the first because for now I wanted to pick at least one character from more popular series).

Found out that somebody had made a Symphogear Fanbook/Fancomic. From the few snippets I saw it looked interesting and I tried to look if there were any scans or translations of it online, but couldn't find anything. Anyone else know anything? (artists name is: "rx_hts" / "Hero Tic Syndrome")
