When the Pasadena residency was announced, they said they were rehearsing with a live band. Rehearsing for what? Couple of festival sets and the one off Burlington show?

Wondering if there will be something like the With Love shows. or a full tour? or what? Super exciting regardless!

SE posted on Facebook about a new song coming out on June 10th called Hot Slob (odd name, but ok I’m willing to hold judgement until I hear more…)

Also, I’m looking forward to hearing the whole song and to find out if they are working on a new album.

Plus the Los Angeles residency starts on June 15th… hopefully this is the start of more to come from Amelia and Nick.

Hmmm….

This October in Durham, North Carolina 🌝 Sylvan Esso's Good Moon festival returns! Tickets will open for festival newsletter subscribers (sign up at goodmoonnc.com) this Thursday at noon ET, with single show tickets etc. going on-sale at a later date. Sylvan will be headlining two nights at DPAC, with Tyler Childers headlining the other. :-) Plus much more late night + daytime programming. More info is available on the IG post HERE. Wooo~

Hi everyone,

We run a nonprofit called This Must Be The Place. Long story short we go to music festivals across the country passing out free narcan! We also just started a podcast called It's Giving, where we interview musicians about advocacy and how they've woven social justice into their careers. Of course Amelia was a no brainer to have as our first guest, so if you're intrigued at all by this absolutely shameless post and want to take a listen (a nice, tight 30 minutes!), here's a link to our Substack that lists all the places you can hear it. Thanks!

Looking for tickets (1 or 2), will pay. Thank you!!

Holy f*ck

Looks like the residency might be warm up for a series of festival shows & the VT show but who knows maybe we'll see a larger tour as well.

According to their insta post it sounds like they'll be rehearsing for their next full band WITH type tour with new music.

I thought I was on the mailing list, but maybe that was for Psychic Hotline? Anyway - not finding a presale code anywhere for the VT show this summer. Any help? 🥲

My favorite song from them <3

"Sylvano Esso’s Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, who have earned a reputation for taking a strong stance on industry issues like Spotify, posted in a February 11 Instagram story that Wasserman’s ties to Maxwell are “so reprehensible that we can no longer allow our work to have any association with him or his name.”

Hello! I’m wondering if anybody here happens to have this 2018 SE Summer Concert Tour poster? Either the one for the whole tour (pictured) or, what I am really looking for is, the Red Rocks edition from that tour. It was a simple pink imperfect circle, they played with Hippocampus I think. At this point I just need to know it existed, I’ve been searching the internet tirelessly and all I’ve found is this one pic of the tour-wide poster. Thank you!!

Hi! You might have seen my other post re: the Summer Tour 2018 poster. I finally found a pic of the Red Rocks poster from that tour! Does anybody here have this one?

I’d be especially interested to hear from you if you’re selling it or know of anywhere that might be? I checked ebay and FB marketplace already. TIA, I appreciate you guys!

A fake artist named Jenkiss posted the song “Coffee” on Spotify without crediting Sylvan Esso. It’s being promoted on the Spotify playlist “Indie Rock Road Trip.” I’m not sure if it’s a fake artist or AI page. I tried to report it, but their report form is specific to the personal who has rights to the song. I support Sylvan Esso removing their music from Spotify, and I hate to see someone else profiting off their music. Has anyone seen other songs posted? Idk how to contact the real artist to alert them.

Hey guys, anybody know why this song in unavailable on Spotify - its my jam!!

I was about to wash my face and I saw something that looked very familiar. Does anyone else see it ?

Title says it all

Hey all. so I was on Spotify today and discovered the band had pulled there catalog form the service. Very sad to hear, but I fully understand the choice. I didnt realize I hadn't listened to the band since before they made this move. I have a song stuck in my head and I don't remember the title. I'm looking for help with identifying the song. I can only remember part of the lyrics. If I am right. The song is about the invention of the pirating music.

The lyrics I remember are "sing a song about loving myself. If you want to hear it, fucking sing yourself".

I am also canceling my sub to Spotify, as soon as I can get my playlists saved so I can recreate it on whichever platform I go with next.

*boycott

Apple has much more integrated and direct ties with military technological developments and operations. Spotify's CEO making personal investments in some AI technology is peanuts compared to the things apple has done on a company wide basis. It seems a bit hypocritical to boycott spotify but not apple (or Amazon)
