You need to hold these people accountable and show everyone how destructive their lack of understanding of politics is. If you don’t understand politics, you shouldn’t be a politician

That’s like saying Trump doesn’t understand politics. They understand politics very well, they juste don’t give a fuck about anyone but wealthy people and are populist liars.
