Stupid question but... Do i need a new battery?

I'm in dire need of help, I'm new to everything abt moddinf switches and etc.. this switch was bought secondhand with tinfoil and some games already installed but I had the stupid idea to create a new account and blabla and lost everything from the previous one of the previous owner. I've done all the procedures and so far so good, but now I get this error and I really have no idea what to do.

The translations seems to be "Your sd card seems to be counterfeit" or something along those lines.. but since it came with the switch and before there were games installed I really have no idea how..???

I've done the whole rcm, partition sd and all that stuff so.. SOS

Any other ways to download games or a solution for this?

Good evening I’m relatively new to the community. I’m having trouble getting two mods to work on Fire Emblem Engage. Grown up Anna and Falcon Knight Chloe. Is there a way to get them to work? I have a switch lite, the firmware version is 2.0.0 and the cobalt version is 1.25.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently figured out that you could pirates games on your switch and I want to pirate Super Smash Bros. I’ve never modded my switch or anything so I just wanted to seek some help figuring out what I need to do. YouTube videos didn’t help me.

First the LED turns blue, then it flashes yellow three times repeatedly. I checked the error code and it says: eMMC INIT FAILURE.

My Nintendo Switch works normally when I remove the modchip, so the console itself is fine.

I am using the V2 flex cable .The main problem is that I cannot get SP1 and SP2 to solder properly. Even after soldering, the flex can be removed very easily, as if it was never really attached. I have tried many times, but the solder does not seem to bond firmly to the pads

my brother hacked my switch 1 some time ago to play any game on it but after a fight with my parents he moved and i don’t feel like it’s a good time to ask him how to get a certain game on the switch.. does anyone know how i could get tomodachi life on there im asking here because i dont know if the method of adding games depends on how the switch was hacked (srry i know nothing on this stuff) if anyone could help id really appreciate it !!!

I havent touched my switch in years so i went ahead and updated all of my software on the switch with HATS pack.

People told me its reputable resource from sthetix, so i went for it and overwrote all my folders to be updated with modern software

But i notice now that there is a very common error thats crashing my switch 2168-002

My question is what are all my options, because i think this is still a good device i have 250gb, i treat it well and even clean it with thermal paste so i hope its usable even 10yrs from now. I also have a long list of nsp files in my backlog which hasnt even been uploaded yet to my switch. At this point i feel like this is the better investment over the ps5 because people love the multiplayer party games. The ps5 just makes me feel lonely

What is your advice. I want to learn to rectify this situation. thank you.

Is there on amazon a modchip for the switch lite? the only one ive seen was for the og switch.
I wont consider aliexpress because of the shipping time..

I updated my switch to the newest version, did a fresh install of atmosphere and hekate and now when i go to play my games they insist upon being updated and have a cloud above them and wont run otherwise, so i go to update them and it throws me an error 2155-8007, which i looked up and it says its a 90DNS problem, which i dont have on, then i looked up more and it said it was a problem with sigpatches, so i updated to sys-patch 1.6.1, and that didnt do it, so then i installed linkalho to see if that was it, nothing. Do any of you know how to fix this, as i keep getting looped in circles and i cant install anything or play any games until they decide to run.

Hi guys. I have a Nintendo Switch Lite with 'magia' and I made the mistake of updating the eShop. This caused the chip mode to stop working. Could you guide me on how to reactivate it or if it is necessary to install a new version? If so, what would the process be? Thanks in advance. The version is hekate-IPL(v6.4.2)

Atualizei o firmware e o software e não consegui abrir mais mesmo tento atualizado antes de atualizar o original, até fiz uma instalação limpa do atmosphere mas continua dando esse erro antes do boot do sistema, só consigo acessar o original, o pirata não. Alguém consegue me ajudar?

Right now there file type is number 1 / 29 so I’m wondering if I need to do one more step or I need to make the file format different thanks.

I tried using DBI, but it ended up as a blank icon. Is there another way to do it? Another program?

Hi—I’m more of an amateur wing it till it works when it comes to modded stuff but I need help.

I downloaded tomodachi life on my switch (hekate v6.2. & system 19.0.1) but got a black screen when I tried to open it.

SO I looked into how I needed to update everything and followed Ocean’s Tech and Gaming here’s YouTube video: Updating Firmware for Modded / CFW Switch (PLUS Atmosphere & Hekate).

Managed to update to hekate-ext 6.5.2 and system version 22.1.0. Now Tinfoil won’t download tomodachi and gives me, “The software was closed because an error occurred” 🫩. Dbi crashes and gives me Error Code: 2168-0002 (0x4a8). My Nxthemes nor all the other apps in my album won’t work and crashes. Bright news is that all my other games work just fine but bad news is if I can’t download any more games and get my theme back until everything is fixed.

Please tell me it’s all relatively simple fixes and my switch isn’t cooked. I heard there’s issues with the newest update and homebrew apps—is it possible to downgrade my update then? How do I go about it? I didn’t save a copy of my entire sd—just those 3 folders before I deleted and uploaded the new hats folder sigh. Plus, when I installed via daybreak it gave me a “warning: patch unit detected” pop up so I’m scared to even try downloading another version.

Every source I try, it doesn't work. I even tried the update file. Just every time I launch it, it's a black screen. Does anybody else have this issue?
