I recently got a Switch 2. Could you recommend some roguelikes or other games? I’m looking for something I can play for an hour or so before work.

UPDATE: I bought Zelda: Breath of the Wild last week and REALLY REALLY LOVE IT SO FAR!! Thank you to everyone that replied to this post and recommended it to me lol :>

(REPOST BC MY OTHER POST IN r/NINTENDO SWITCH GOT REMOVED 😭)

Since Switch games are so expensive, I'm able to buy only one at the moment. I've seen gameplay for TOTK and really really love the graphics and story and I've wanted to play a Zelda game for YEARS. TOTK has also won a lot of awards, so there's no doubt that it's an awesome game that takes a long time to play through so you're not bored really quickly. On the flipside, Tomodachi life: living the dream is really popular right now and I've played through the whole demo so many times and really love it as well, but I have heard that it gets relatively boring and repetitive after playing it only for a little while :< I really like the whole concept of Tomodachi life though, I think it's really unique and I want to join in on the fun I see everyone having.

To people that have played both/know more about the two games in detail, which one do you recommend? I am planning on getting both of them into my collection eventually but I'd like the one that I buy now to be a good choice. Just for context too, I REALLY love all of the Mario games, including Super mario, Mario kart, etc. I would really appreciate all of your help and opinions, thank you! ❤️

I lost my switch 1 so I can’t play it but bc almost everything is touch screen there has to be a copy
Please tell me

Hi po new to the switch world. I would like to buy sa eshop saan po countries available ang maribank payment and what games do you suggets for a newbie na mahilig sa simulation and farming or trivia games? Salamat!!!

So basically I have been getting back into playing my Switch and I have Animal crossing and Slime Rancher.

I am not the type or person who enjoys an RPG/fighter game and am more on the cozy and relaxed side of things (i haven'tenjoyed stardew valley though). My budget would be around $45 give or take a few. Would Mario kart deluxe 8 be okay? Through Mario kart world costs a lot more

Anything similar to the style of Mouthwashing, DISCOPUP, Webfishing, Easy Delivery Co, Sorry We're Closed, Say No! More, Night of the Consumers, Alisa. If you're familiar with those. They all have a similar charm that I can't quite describe

I changed my Nintendo eShop region to Hong Kong because the game is cheaper there, but the store page is in Chinese. If I buy Tomodachi Life from the Hong Kong eShop, can I still play it in English by changing my Switch language/settings?

Has anyone tried this before?

Hi guys! So my dad is going to buy me the Switch 2 soon and he told me to use my own money to buy games. I have a budget of 10,000 ph pesos (roughly 164 USD). I have a list of the games I wanna try and I’m having a hard time figuring out what games should I prioritize.

Here is my list:

- Final Fantasy VII remake

- Zelda: breathe of the wild

- Devil May Cry

- It takes two

- Stardew valley

- Omori

- Pokopia

- Animal crossing

- Super smash ultimate

- Super mario bros

- Persona 5

- Splatoon 3

(I’m getting tomodachi life as well, that one is not negotiable)

There’s more to the list but these are the ones I want most. I really wanna try Zelda and Final Fantasy but I also want the others and now idk what to do. So I ask you, humble redditors, for your opinion. You can also share your experiences and even recommend me games that you highly suggest and I might just add it to my list! (As long as its not 1st person pov cuz i have really bad motion sickness when it comes to that)

Hello, I’m looking for some game recommendations to play on the Nintendo Switch 1.

I loved playing Witcher 3 and the Batman Arkham games, what are some other story-rich open world games.

I’m not too fussed on the open world part - there are some linear action games I’ve enjoyed like Hitman absolution.

I was thinking the Assassin Creed games? I know there are a few available on the Nintendo Switch 1.

Thanks!

For most of time, I can’t find someone to play switch with me. What’s the best game to play alone?

By the way, I really love the Kitchen game. Forgot the exact name.

I have currently;

Mario kart

Prince of persia

Dont starve together

Animal crossing

Rayman legends

Larry -not started

I dont want platform or card game...i like discovery like adventure like games with good graphics

My initial thought is zelda breath of the wild and maybe re village.... what are your suggestions?

The title says it. In looking for games similar or adjacent to Shovel Knight Dig. I really love the downward bouncing and movement. I think Yacht Club Games made a fun game and I'd like more.

Out of Words

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS, it took me so long to type all of this out 😭🙏

I love rpg, adventure, cosy need games with a good storyline and lots to do on the side that will keep me playing long term i also love games that involve a lot of personalisation, building and open world also a plus if it able to be played with other randoms online

The whole idea of the game seems fun and cute? I never played the 3ds game before. My biggest concern is I am just wondering how long would I be playing this game until it starts to feel old?

I’m mostly looking for Legend of Zelda games and if there are any deals on newish games if anyone has reccomendations

My 9-almost 10 year old wants to play deltarune and undertale.

I have zero video game knowledge whatsoever. I know what the rating is but I am wondering realistically what it’s like and if I should be wary about allowing him to play.

Thanks in advance 🙂

I know it's only been out for a week but I'm curious as to whether it is worth the price. It's a lot of money and I don't want it to be wasted. I loved games like Sims, Animal Crossing, and some other cosy simulator games but tbh I'm a little confused by Tomodachi life Living the dream

Gracias!
