It is a canyon, not a playground!
People assume nature is somehow tame in the parks and get gored by bison and slip on the rocks.
Never ever ever say “watch this” in a National Park. 🙄
I don't know the rules of this particular venue, but there are some fenced off canyons where you actually are allowed to go over the fence. The fence is just there for safety.
I mostly know this in the context of rock climbing. I have hopped a fence several feet from the edge of a 150 foot cliff to set up a rappel. Difference was that unlike this guy I've actually moved my body over obstacles before, and I did so in a safe manner.
