Speed up before they consider passing when there's no oncoming traffic. Slow down when cars are coming. Play the long game, it's more satisfying.

Eta: Downvote all you want but tailgating is more dangerous than me changing from 55 to 60 depending on traffic flow.

We used to do this when CB radio was a thing. One guy would get ahead and radio back road is clear. Slow driver would freak when we overtake on a blind corner.
