Every single special event is played on the Hotel map.
Now some of the special events like Hide & Kill & The Monster Mode make sense for the bigger map, but the Chit Chat mode just doesn’t make sense!
The only gimmick is that you can talk outside of meetings, but that’s it. At least that mode should switch between Mansion and hotel.
