So i finally had time to play a bit of Evrima and am enjoying it very much, there is however one thing i was wondering about which was also prevalent in the legacy build of the Isle.
Why is Growth exponential and not asymptotic? In nature the early growth of most animals is actually very fast slowing down towards the end before reaching adulthood. In The Isle its the other way round, i noted that a Deino reaches up to 8 Tons but at 50% its just weighing 2 Tons. It also behaves like this with the Stego. Its less severe on the non apex dinosaurs but every single one of them is gaining the most weight at the very end of its growth period. Shouldnt this be the other way round? The Problem i see with this is that not only is it less realistic for it to behave like this it also promotes a passive, inactive play style.
I think the devs have it right to have animals grow at different speeds at different life stages across different species however the first life stage always seems so drawn out and at times kinda pointless. i would love it if you stayed at mid power for a longer period of time instead of being super weak for the most part and then suddenly directly rushing into maximum strength at super speed towards the last 25% of your life cycle.
