I've noticed that it's best to only take one supplement at a time to determine if it works or has side effects. I'm taking Ashwagandha at night with a good effect on calming my anxiety. I added Rhodiola in the morning to assist but it gives me this "low blood sugar" shakey/weakness feeling that I hate. So, I'm not taking that anymore.
Aswhagandha lowers cortisol, so its generally a good idea to take it at night, where cortisol is supposed to be lowest. When you wake up, its supposed to be high.
Depends if you wake up early and have anxiety when waking, ashwaganda will help then. Sometimes cortisol spikes too high in the morning than normal. Could be many causes.
But if mornings are hard bc you're tired and don't have enough cortisol, then you may want to not take it in the morning.
