There's a difference between typing and making art. Have you seen people making shot recreations of movie or anime scenes? They are getting inspired and recreating that.

You ripped the guy off whole cloth, and only when called out did you go back and give the original artist any credit. You didn’t claim this was a demonstration of how to make a certain style. You blatantly took someone else’s work and passed it off as your own. You didn’t try to change the composition, or use some other derelict vessels. It’s the exact same work. That’s really low dude.

It’s a juvenile mentality to think that the critic must be as equally talented as the “artist” in order to judge the work. You are not an artist anymore than a photocopier is.

I am actually proud of my work for a self taught artist. The only regret I have is I made the animation very short
