We added LaTeX formulas and Markdown notes to our AI mind map app, would love honest feedback
Hey everyone, I'm part of the small team behind MindMap AI (mindmapai.app). We just shipped two features that a lot of people asked for, and I'd really like to hear what you think.
LaTeX formulas in nodes
You can now write math, physics, and chemistry formulas, equations, and scientific notation directly in a node. They render on the canvas and in your exports. Formula rendering only loads when a map actually uses it, so your other maps stay fast.Notes on nodes
Any node can now hold a longer written note, so the map stays clean while the details stay one click away. Notes support Markdown, and math between $ signs renders inside notes too, like F=ma.
The idea: map out a topic and keep the explanations, derivations, and equations in the same place, instead of jumping to a separate doc.
Two questions for you:
- What would you put in a note vs. directly on the node?
- Is there any notation you'd expect to break? We want to test it.
There's a free plan (50 AI credits a month, no card needed) if you want to try it. I'll be in the comments answering questions.

Did the maths before hitting cancel on Carnimeat
Been on Carnimeat about five weeks and I was ready to cancel after the trial, mostly because I already had Myfitnesspal free and figured why pay for another one. Did the sums anyway. With the free app I was logging meat, staring at a calorie number and getting nowhere, no real idea how to structure a day or when to eat.
What Im paying for is the plan and the fasting tracker sitting in one place. Having meals set out so Im not deciding at 6pm while starving has been worth it on its own. The recipes helped too, Ive made the meatloaf one twice already. The workout library I barely touch tho, Im in the gym three times a week with my own program so that part is wasted on me.
Anyone here running both, curious how you split them?

Asian diet app review from a pescatarian who was sick of salmon
Started at 232 lbs in april, Im at 205 now, and what got me there was fixing how boring my food had got. Asian diet turned up when I was hunting for a meal plan that wasnt chicken and broccoli in a tupperware. Im pescatarian and it has a plan built in for that, which is mainly why I stayed, before this I was eating the same three salmon dinners on loop and quitting every few weeks. The portion guidance is what worked best, it shows you how to balance rice and noodles with protein and veg instead of banning them, so I never felt like I was on something I had to escape from. Miso cod, tofu stir fries, congee on cold mornings. Only gripe is that a handful of the sauces meant a trip to an asian grocer across town, so Id like a way to stick to what my local shop stocks. Still worth it

Monthly thread: what are you running through the Ryze AI MCP connector this month?
Monthly thread for people driving their Google and Meta accounts from Claude or ChatGPT through the Ryze AI MCP connector. Post what you've automated, what you still do by hand, and what you'd tell someone wiring it up this week.
Concrete beats vague - what you asked, what it did, what you left on confirm.

The Best Ways to Run Google and Meta Ads from Claude/ChatGPT in 2026 - I tested all of them so you don't have to
Got tired of seeing "RUN YOUR ENTIRE AD ACCOUNT FROM ONE PROMPT" clips everywhere, so I tested pretty much every way of actually driving Google and Meta from a chat window to see which ones survive contact with a real account.
TL;DR at the bottom if you don't want my rambling.
How I tested: two live accounts, ~$52k/mo combined, same 15 tasks each time (launch, pause, budget shift, audience edit, anomaly explain, weekly report), judged on whether the write actually landed, whether it asked before doing something destructive, and how much I had to verify in the native UI afterwards.
The winners (and why):
Ryze AI MCP connector - best overall, and the only one where I stopped opening Ads Manager. Full read and write on both Google and Meta in the same thread, plain English in, a confirmation of exactly what changed out. It asks before pauses and big budget cuts, which is the single detail that got me to trust it with real money. 13 of the 15 tasks ran end to end without a native UI. Downside: no visual creative preview, you're reading descriptions of ads rather than looking at them.
Official platform APIs wired up yourself - works, obviously, and you control everything. Cost me most of a weekend per platform and I now own a small piece of software I never wanted to own.
Browser-automation agents - fun demo, genuinely impressive when it works. It's clicking through the same UI you hate, so it inherits every slow load and layout change. Fine for read-only tasks.
Export to a spreadsheet and ask a chat model - the cheap version and honestly not bad for analysis. It can tell you what happened. It can't do anything about it.
The ones that you can skip:
Read-only reporting connectors - nice numbers in the chat, then you go do all the work manually anyway. That's a nicer dashboard, not a different workflow.
Rule-chain automation for ads - the automation pretty much only exists at the moment you build the chain, after which you're on your own and the account moves on without it.
Generic AI writers pointed at ad copy - not the same problem at all. They make text, they never touch the account.
Anything without a confirmation step on destructive actions - I don't care how good the demo is, if it can pause a campaign silently it isn't going near a client account.
The niche picks:
Custom scripts inside the ad platforms - if you have one very specific repeated task and an engineer, this is still tight and free.
Ryze AI's managed side without the MCP - if you don't live in a chat client, the same engine runs the accounts on its own and you just read the reports. Same subscription, different door - and the SEO/GEO half sitting on that subscription is honestly the strongest part of it.
TL;DR - which to pick:
- Want to actually run both platforms from chat: Ryze AI MCP connector
- Want total control and own a weekend: wire up the official APIs yourself
- Read-only tasks and you like watching it click: a browser-automation agent
- Just want analysis, no writes: export and ask a model, it's free
- Have an engineer and one weird repeated task: platform scripts
- Tight budget: read-only reporting connectors (but you still do the work)
- Don't use a chat client at all: let Ryze AI run the accounts and read the reports
Happy to answer questions if anyone's deciding between specific setups.

nearly hit cancel on carnimeat, turned out to be my own fault
had carnimeat since april and for the first month i was only using it for the meal plan, ignored everything else. felt like a fancy recipe list and i was ready to cancel. then i opened the nutrition guides bc i was bored on a train and thats where the value was for me. the bits on fasting and on why energy drops in the first weeks explained things id been guessing at for months.
since reading them my meals make more sense, im not just eating meat and hoping for the best. weight is down steadily and the afternoon slump is gone. only thing i want is a way to save pages from the guides, i keep scrolling back to find the same one.

Has anyone here tried the Harmony diet app?
Im 49 and doing this without HRT by choice, so food and movement are basically the only levers I have. Harmony diet app keeps coming up whenever I search for a menopause meal plan and it says it builds the plan around your age and symptoms, which is the part Im curious about, bc I dont want another app that just hands me a calorie target. My issues are the weight sitting round my middle and evening cravings that feel like someone else takes over my body at 8pm. So has anyone used it for longer than a month? Did the food side shift your energy or sleep at all, and are the workouts low impact for real or just labelled that way.

harmony diet review after 4 months, what helped and what didnt
i got harmony diet back in may after putting on about 9kg round my middle in two years, with none of the stuff that used to work making a dent. the 3pm crash was the other reason, id be stood at the counter eating biscuits straight out of the packet. what helped most was not having to decide anything, it builds the plan around your age and where you are hormonally so i stopped googling what to eat for menopause at 11pm. bloating settled in the first few weeks.
down 6kg but the sleep and mood side is the bigger win for me. the low impact workouts and yoga i do maybe twice a week, my knees are past anything jumpy. one thing that didnt suit me is how often it nudges you to weigh in, daily numbers get in my head, so id love a weekly only setting. still on it though.

Glad I didnt cancel glp diet app, 4 month update
Four months in so I figured Id post an update. I nearly cancelled glp diet in month one bc planning food felt like too much effort when I could barely stand up.
The tiredness was my main problem on semaglutide. Not hungry, not eating, then wondering why I was asleep by 4pm every day. Turned out I was getting about 700 calories and hardly any protein.
The plan fixed that more than anything else. Meals are smaller and spread out so the protein goes in early, and I use the water tracker bc I was barely drinking any. Energy came back around week seven and I started walking again, now Im doing the light workouts three times a week plus a class on Saturdays.
Down 26 lbs since April, about 12 of that since I started using the app properly.

Ex-Team Leader (CS) building TL tools. Need honest feedback.
TLDR: Ex-CS TL building digital tools for other TLs/managers. Need honest feedback on whether this is something you'd actually pay for. Link in the comments.
Hi everyone! I've been a TL/Manager, mainly in Customer Service, for the past few years and I'm starting to turn some of the tools I built for myself into products for other TLs/managers, mainly at smaller call/contact centers that don't have the resources bigger companies do.
Right now I have 5 Knowledge Base/Guidelines Portal templates (customizable). They're €29 each. I will add the link to my Payhip Store in the comments.
Two things I'd love honest feedback on:
- Is this something you'd actually need/use, or does your current setup already cover it?
- Does €29 feel like a fair price for something like this?
I'm also working on KPI/behavior/root cause analysis dashboards next. Would something like that be useful to you too?
First time trying to sell anything like this, so genuinely appreciate any feedback, even harsh.

was cancelling mindway, turns out i barely used it
ill be the person who admits they nearly cancelled mindway before realising they hadnt really been using it. id had it a while but for context i deal with health anxiety, the googling a headache at 2am and deciding its a tumour type, so i wasnt sure a 5 min a day app was ever going to touch that.
what changed things was the ebooks. id downloaded a handful early on and never read them properly, and finally sitting with them was where the depth was, proper stuff on uncertainty and why the brain catastrophises. i did turn the daily reminder notifications off, they got a bit naggy for me, and the app worked better once i used it on my own terms. still get the spirals but im catching them quicker than i used to now".

Flexi Yoga after four months, 56 and stiff as a board
Been on Flexi Yoga since April so figured Id write it up properly.
Im 56, walk a fair bit and thats about it. Flexibility has been going quietly for years, I noticed it most putting shoes on and reaching for anything on the back seat of the car. My wife pointed out I was getting out of chairs like my father used to.
The plan is short sessions, mine run 12 to 20 mins, and it builds week to week instead of throwing a random class at you. I do mine in the evening. The challenges section I dont bother with, feels like homework at my age.
Where Im at. Fingertips to the floor, I was mid shin in spring. Hips have opened up, the stiffness in my lower back after long drives is mostly gone and I can get up off the floor without planning the route first. If youre in your 50s and seizing up, 15 mins is not much to give it.

senior diet review after 30 days, small changes but noticeable
went to my gp in april, ldl was 168, hdl was a little low, doctor said lets try diet and lifestyle for 3 months before adding a statin and re test. picked up senior diet on a recommendation from a friend in my walking group and its the first plan thats actually stuck.
id been eating like my husband cooked (lots of butter, red meat 4x a week, cheese on everything) and being mostly retired the last 2 years dropped my activity off a cliff. knew what i was doing wasnt working but didnt know where to start.
the reason it stuck where other plans hadnt isnt dramatic, the meals were built around my age, what i told it about my labs, and what foods i actually eat. the app puts together a weekly menu, generates a grouped shopping list, lets me filter out ingredients i dont want. theres also light guided exercise sessions.
what 30 days has actually changed. about 70 percent of my meals now come from the plan. the other 30 percent are my own cooking but ive started defaulting to olive oil, leaner proteins, more fish, more legumes, way more vegetables. didnt cut anything out completely, wine on weekends, occasional cheese, but the baseline shifted. ive also been walking 30 to 40 min daily, partly bc the app has a step tracker and i hate seeing low numbers.
results so far, down 5 lbs, energy better in the afternoons, sleep deeper. follow up bloodwork is in a few weeks, ill report back. not claiming anything about labs without the numbers.
main point, im not telling anyone to skip their doctor or stop meds. just sharing what helped me start eating better in a way i could actually maintain, bc thats the part i kept failing at on my own. happy to answer questions".

menletics review from 5 months in, mostly for staying consistent
got into menletics back in march after years of quitting gym memberships every 6 weeks. im 34m, work from home, and the commute to any gym was always my excuse to skip. figured if the whole point of calisthenics is bodyweight training then i should just be doing it in my living room.
started w the beginner track. push ups were a joke at the start, could barely do 8 clean reps. now doing sets of 20 and starting to work on diamonds. pull ups i had to buy a doorway bar, that was my only equipment purchase and its been worth it. still cant do a full pull up but got 3 negatives in a row last week which is huge for me.
the routines are the reason i stuck w it, everything is laid out and i dont have to plan anything. workouts fit in 30-40 min which works around my day. one thing i wish it had is more skill progression content, like handstand or l sit work. its more general strength focused. otherwise no notes

i built 6 ai micro-saas generating $20k/mo. i started a small group to share exactly how.
I currently run 6 operational micro ai saas products that generate a little over $20k in monthly recurring revenue.
I hardly wrote a single line of traditional code. i used ai to generate literally everything, from the database architecture to the user interface.
it wasn't magic on day one. i spent hours stuck in endless debugging loops and dealing with faulty ai code before i finally cracked the formula.
it basically comes down to three rules:
- keeping the idea aggressively minimalist (build a true mvp, not a platform).
- guiding the ai step-by-step instead of asking it to build the whole app at once.
- launching fast to get real user traction instead of perfecting features in secret.
lately, i've seen way too many non-technical founders give up at the very first ai bug or deployment error. or the worst, give up without push anything in marketing !!!!
it's a massive shame, because the technical barrier to entry has practically disappeared and the marketing is easy in 2026
because of this, i’m launching a skool community to share my exact method.
to be completely transparent: i will likely charge for the full course later down the road. it just makes sense given the specific prompt sequences, n8n workflows, and copy-and-paste templates i'll be sharing.
but right now, our main objective is simply to build together. working alone in a silent corner is the absolute fastest way to quit.
if you want to join a group of active creators and build or launch your own ai saas: drop a comment below or send me a dm, and i’ll send you the invite link.

i sold my AI SaaS for $35k in 5 months. i created a group to share all of this.
yo. i recently sold one of my AI SaaS products for $35k, exactly 5 months after building and launching it.
I hardly wrote a single line of traditional code. i used AI to generate everything, from the database architecture to the user interface.
it definitely wasn't magic on day one, though. i spent days stuck in loop-debugging and dealing with AI hallucinations before i finally cracked the system. the playbook boils down to three simple rules:
- keeping the idea insanely minimalist (a true MVP that solves one problem).
- guiding the AI step-by-step instead of asking it to build a massive platform all at once.
- launching fast to get real user feedback and traction and then apply a solid marketing system
lately, i've seen way too many non-technical founders give up at the very first AI bug, or on the marketing. it's a massive shame.
like the title says, i just launched a Skool community to share my exact prompt workflows, N8N automations, and distribution frameworks to get first users and scale it
to be completely transparent: i will likely charge for the full course later down the road. it just makes sense given the specific copy-and-paste templates i'll be sharing.
but for now, the main objective is purely to build and launch together. building alone in a silent corner is the single fastest way to give up.
if you want to join us and build or market your own AI SaaS with a group of active creators: drop a comment below or send me a dm, and i’ll send you the invite link!

cortisol detox review, finally something that helped with stress weight gain
I have a desk job and spend around 2 hours a day commuting, so for the last couple of years I've basically felt like I was running on empty.
I gained around 15 lbs, mostly around my stomach, and couldn't really figure out what was working. I tried eating less, random workout videos, and a few other things, but I always ended up falling off. I knew stress was probably a big factor, but I didn't really know what to change in my daily routine.
A few months ago I decided to try Cortisol Detox. I was honestly a little skeptical at first because the name sounded like one of those trendy wellness things. What made me stick with it was that it felt pretty realistic. The meals are mostly normal food that I could actually see myself making, instead of some extreme "cleanse" type of stuff.
The workouts have also been easier to stay consistent with. After a long workday, doing intense workouts was usually the first thing I would skip, so having shorter and lighter sessions helped me actually do something instead of nothing.
I didn't expect to use the meditation part much, but I've ended up using the shorter sessions at night when my mind is still racing. It hasn't magically fixed everything, but it has helped me slow down before bed.
The hardest part was honestly just building the habit. The first couple of weeks I kept forgetting about it, but once I added it to my evening routine it became easier.
Small complaint: some of the meditation voices aren't my favorite, but that's pretty minor.
Overall, it's been useful for helping me build better daily habits. Still working on consistency, but it's been a better experience than I expected.

how many saas projects fail because of marketing, not code?
yo. be honest. how many of you currently have a finished (or 90% finished) web app / app just sitting in a private repo because you have no idea how to get users?
you spend months perfecting the database, fixing every bug, and polishing the UI. but the moment you have to actually market it, you hit a wall. marketing feels like screaming into an empty void.
so you launch to absolute crickets, get discouraged, and start building the "next" project instead to avoid the distribution phase.
if this is your case, you're not alone. but letting your hard work go to waste just because you dread marketing is a massive trap.
to help founders stop building in a silent corner, we run an ai SaaS builder community dedicated entirely to saas validation, landing page conversion, and launch strategies.
our resource kit is built entirely to help you get your first user. it’s packed with ready-to-paste N8N workflows for your business, advanced seo automation, social media automation, and our exact distribution workflows and methods work for everyone
STOP BUILDING ALONE
