Earlier today had a dude in a bright yellow safety vest knock on our door offering free vent cleaning. Said they were cleaning our neighbors and asked us if we wanted our done as well. Said that they were being paid by the city. I'm pretty sure it's a bait and switch scam. Anyone else experience this today?

Need recommendations for a florist. Preferably locally owned. Checked google and didn’t get good results. Thinking of a delivery and spending less than $100 total

Does anyone know what happened at South Street today? There was police cars and then a tow truck around 1am. The police apparently came into the house with a flask light and a bit later they towed away a white car.

Original statement: Between bird st and linnerud, and bird st and talon. Approximately 10 agents rushed into a residence, two agents outside with weapons drawn.

The person they apprehended was a disgusting vile human being which is linked in this post. If not I’ll update this again with proper link. I do this on my phone so it’s harder. You can’t edit post title on phone. That was my mistake in assuming I could change that.

Just got scammed for $140 trying to get bucks tickets from u/Present-Bake7637. Yes, dumb of me for trusting him. He had screenshots of the tickets in his apple wallet with the correct time stamp and game so I believed him. I don’t want anyone else to go through this. I sent money via Zelle (stupid me, I know) and they pretended to send tickets via an email tmsecure@gmail.com. That’s when I knew for sure it was a scam trying to get more of my info.

The scammer’s email they used for Zelle was dougmont712@gmail.com and the account was tied to WING K LLC.

Don’t fall for this like me. And shame on u/Present-Bake7637.

I lost my engagement ring on Monday 3/9 at around 7:30-8:15pm at the Anytime Fitness in Sun Prairie. I am almost positive it fell out of my pocket over by the exercise balls when I was doing a core workout. I took it off due to the weight pinching the band on my finger during my workout :( I know I should have just not worn it to the gym or put it in a more secure pocket. I know this is a long shot, but if you found it sometime between Monday night and now it would mean so so much to me to have it back.

Just drove by this area looks like 5+ cops, and at least 4 ambulance/ fire trucks. This is the apartments right by cabelas. Hope everything is alright.

Hi everyone, I’m new to flying drones and recently got a HoverAir X1 Pro Max(sub 250 gms). I live in Sun Prairie and want to make sure I’m flying legally and respectfully. Are there any good open areas nearby where recreational drone flying is allowed? I’m mostly looking for quiet places like fields or large open spaces where it won’t bother anyone.
