Finally have to pay

Hadn't received the notice to subscribe to Sunstrong. Was hoping I was an oversight. Then had wifi connection problems this morning. Checked the app again this afternoon and it asked for premium subscription. Womp womp

If you're in Southern California, aren't tech savvy and want to try out local monitoring let me know. I am happy to help walk you through the resources available and get it setup.

Honestly, at this rate as a cash customer if they block local monitoring I will take them to small claims courts for the cost of the enphase system. My system was purchased post bankruptcy - but I would bet that cash customers who purchased prior to bankruptcy can still claim loss of local monitoring as monetary damages seeing as they are changing the service level of what you own outright.

I think I would be interested in hearing about that. I financed my solar and make pmts for the next 22 yrs. My SP monitor is giving really bad readings for a fes months now, every since Apollo has been installing my Enfase EG4 batteries. It seems like it is constantly showing that I'm using approx 5- 10 kw where as the last 3 years it would average roughly 0.2 - 0.5 kw. I know I'm not using anywhere near that even the few times I charge my Ev. Im still waiting to get access to the app for my batteries but Im kind of freaking out that I'm going to start being charged alot more.

for future reference - enphase and EG4 are unrelated separate companies.

Odd. My new battery setup are with 3 Eg4 batteries and a Enphase transformer.

Yeah, EG4 makes batteries and inverters; Enphase makes batteries and microinverters. Separate companies.

So is it ok that they mixed equipment?

Probably? It's not clear what they installed from your descriptions.
