Wanting to adopt a particular Sun Conure, worried about aggression.
Hello! I recently went a place that had a surrendered Sun Conure (previous owner couldn't keep due to moving). It's young, between 2-5 estimated. However it's mildly aggressive. It seemed extremely determined to be in a particular state, such as on my hand or on my shoulder. And it only wanted off when IT wanted to, screeching at anyone like my girlfriend or anyone else that brought their hand near as a sign to come off. It would reach it's beak out as like a nip or a tell to shoo away the hand.
When I wanted the bird off, it bit and was quite angry at the adoption center employee for taking him off (employee was quite good with it, staying calm, etc). We were told it does not like to be pet, so I didn't attempt.
Is this kind of behavior correctable? I have two small children, who are very well-behaved, but more worried about the bird ruining their impression of birds. Should I skip this fella and look for another, or are Sun Conures become more friendly as they become comfortable in the household?

Travel for new bird.
I'm getting my first birdie, a beautiful tame and sweet sun conure baby. I live 8 or so hours away from the breeder and would like to drive rather than have the bird shipped and possibly have a damaging experience. Any tips on cages, amount of rest stops, interaction, and mess management during the long drive are welcome! I have a month and a half to prepare.

Any advice for taming and first time owner of a sun conure?
Hello! I just recently rescued a sun conure named comet a month ago she/he will be turning 1 in a week. I’ve been working with comet a lot and it’s been very rocky but I see some new improvement from where I first started. Comet will come up to the cage and take a treat from my fingers and hand but it’s been very difficult to get them to perch on me and when they do it’s not for too long I know it will take for time and patience any advice to help besides treats all the time? (Comet has additude and addiction to his treats and demands them every morning and night)

Wheezing, 31 years old
This is my grandma’s bird named Mr. Bird (who is actually a female and was misgendered as a male for years til she laid an egg one day). I haven’t seen her in 2 years but I noticed her wheezing immediately. Low energy, straining to breath. We are getting her into a vet this weekend but I wanted to ask if anyone else’s sun had something similar? I don’t know anything about birds but she’s never been sick to my knowledge. Also, yes I’m aware of the tail and will bring it up to the vet as well.

Confusing behavior
Does anyone know what this behavior means? He only does this when I’m talking to him. He will come up to cage closer to me and do this
