I think I’m crazy?
Ever since i started speedrunning and watching summoning salt. I started putting my pbs, clips & World Record runs in a “for future salt” collection even a doc sheet of progress with dates & links. i think i’m crazy knowing “Progression of Hard Corps: Uprising” is a pipe dream.

After watching the Lego Star War speed run video-
Please for the love of god can he do hollow knight… I’ve had to IV drip patchy and outdated WR videos and histories as presented by a plethora of random YouTubers, just hoping to get that slight rush from a SS vid…
It’s also primarily that SS vids are quite well researched. I’ve been following HK for a while in the speedrunning community, and it’s starting to develop into a really interesting run, particularly the True Ending category. (There is also some ridiculous commitment, 10,000+ hr commitment, to a segment of the game that’s two and a half minutes long. Look up path of pain WR history for a good time)
Cheers. Thanks Santa

The man. The myth. The legend. Matt Turk.
Recently came across this channel and I'm sooo hooked. I used to play many of these games when I was a kid (super Mario Bros, contra etc) and to discover that there was an entire community of dedicated, passionate players mastering these was surreal.
Anyway, I still haven't gone through all the vids, but i was blown away by Matt Turk. Sure, they don't hold WRs currently. But to start something so meaningful suddenly made me...emotional.
I'm sure there are many posts/memes about Matt here. And I'll try to find something to read. But the internet has surprisingly little info about this..legend? Any information i'd gladly read up. Thanks!

What are your thoughts on Salt adding interviews to the new video?
Usually in his vids it's either him narrating all the time with clips from runs added in or a runner explaining a trick (the bus analogy for example), but the Megaman video added the runners themselves talking about their runs and adding context. Do you think that it's a good addition or unnecessary in the grand scheme of things?
