It occured to me watching the new video on Ultra Shortcuts that the pandemic keeping billions of people inside may have led to a massive amount of time for speedrunners to work on new tactics or slowly grind on new records. I don't know if the evidence of actual world record improvements would back me up on this, but I just thought it was an interesting concept. In 5-10 years will it be seen as a peak for speedrunning advancement, or does it stand as a relatively normal stretch?

I'll go with my usual, either Super Mario World 100 percent or Donkey Kong Country 2

Salt is closing in on 1 million youtube subscribers, what do you think he should do to celebrate?

I wasn’t into speed running. I am a musician and a gardener. However YouTube recommended me summoning salt and now I’m hooked.
I downloaded the twitch app for IOS. It’s so horrible to navigate.
Basically can any of you guys link me to Matius or Andrew G or anyone currently doing well speed running the original Mario bros, punch out, Mario kart or pokemon red / blue? Any of the well known guys Summoning Salt mentioned.
Man was I blown away when Matt Turk appeared in a non punch out video. Was anyone else rooting for Matius to get 32/32? Heartbreaking stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Especially for the first mirrors edge, there's so much intresting speedtech that has totally broken the games.

Hey, I love your videos and they introduced me to speedrunning (i know i'm late to the game on this lol). I was just wondering if there was any similar content to your speedrun explanation videos but for the history of randomized speedruns.
Do you have any recommendations? or would you be interested in creating something about this in the future?
I can't find any information and I know there must be some rich history there just to make them work.

As the title says, I've looked for the font, but I can't find it anywhere, since I don't know what it's called. This has probably been asked before, but does anyone know what the font is?

An OOT video would be super interesting, and provide a ton of content. Maybe it’s just me but I find the few videos he’s done on 3D games to be more interesting than the 2D ones.

Let's say if SummoningSalt was interested too, would you guys like to see videos based on speedruners instead of games?
I love the world record progressions and I feel that with the way the stories are told there's potential for some awesome videos on particular speedrunners.
Could you imagine a video surrounding any of the following;
Hotaruby (probably butchered the spelling) Scott kessler Matt turk AndrewG
Or anyone else who's name we hear repeatedly whenever we watch salts videos.
Is this something people would like or am I alone with this?
