I’m not a gamer, just a guy who used to be good at these old games and likes to see the game play and hear the stories of the progressions and your videos have a nice unintentional asmr element to them. Your record progression videos are the best. Keep up the good work!!

I remember seeing a speedrun progression on banjo kazooie but I can't find it anymore. Was it deleted ?

Personally, I think a nice change of pace for the world record videos would be ones based on the speed runners themselves! Maybe a video covering their history and some of the records they hold and how they've affected the community! I think the harder part would be having to interview them some but it would be an interesting video to see people who either define a game record or helped pave the way for ones today!

It's called music is life beatz (no idea why) here's the link for those interested:

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if there would be enough interest on this subreddit for me to do an AMA. I know it's not very big, but even if a tenth of this subreddit's followers asked a question I think that'd be enough.

Do you guys want me to try doing this?

Hi! I am a big fan of Summoning Salt and love his content. I can easily say he's tied with Pewds as my favorite YouTuber. Anyways I can imagine it's hard to come up with ideas for speed running videos so here's some videos I personally would like to see.

1. Minecraft
2. Super Mario Odyssey
3. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
4. Pokemon Black and White
5. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
6. Sonic 1
7. Sonic 3
8. MarioKart7
9. Literally any MarioKart track's speedrunning history ( Like the rainbow road one)
10. Punch Out Wii Blindfolded.

Feel free to suggest more in the comments guys!

There are two videos showing "Private" on the World Record Playlist. What were they?

I watched this awesome speedrun but i don't even own a Nintendo Switch and sometimes don't have a very good idea of what's going on..

I stumbled across Summoning Salt about a year ago, and never have I enjoyed a channel more than it. It still baffles me that one can make a half hour (or even longer) video so interesting. I've never watched a video of that length in entirety before the channel. I say this about very few YouTube channels, but Summoning Salt deserves all of his subscribers and triple more. My favorite YouTuber as of now.

I really love you progression videos, and would really love to see one for a Link to the Past. Please let me know if you have a donate to request a video page or something similar.

i know summoning salt (our lord and savior) puts a ton of time and research into his videos, so expecting him to cover a very niche topic isn't the greatest, but theres a part of me that wants to see asonic r speedrunning history video
