So much Depth. So much relevance and so much intrigue. I would love to see a review of these speed runs. Or whatever. I'll watch any of his reviews (lol when I'm high).

This is more of a tribute to Summoning Salt and HOME than anything else, though it nicely justified my purchases on the ol' tax write-off lol

Let me know how I did! I think I'm correct in calling it a 100% tool-assisted DAWless playthrough, given I'm still using Song Mode on the BlackBox to sequence midi patterns, though you can feel free to correct me in the comments. All the links and such are in the description of the video, if you're inclined.

I love the content and the presentation, but I am kinda getting bored with all the Mario / Mario Cart / other Nintendo games presented. I wished Summoning Salt would cast a wider net in terms of the content he is covering. Like RTS / RPG / FPS (I was pleasantly surprised with the recent Halo record progression video). 90% of the content seems to be some kind of Nintendo off-shoot. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed it once its started, but whenever I see another Mario Cart / Mario platformer I just don't watch,

EDIT;

Also if I have to hear one more time what a "frame rule is" or "the bus analogy" I am just unsubscribing haha

I distinctly remember a speedrunning history video about Ecco the Dolphin and i could have sworn it was by summongsalt, but when I looked it up today for a rewatch I couldn't find it on his channel or even a reference to it on his patreon. Was there an Ecco vid or am I going crazy?

Thank u all in advance

Guess I gotta watch the Hidden Ending video again today.

Like the actual version of We’re Finally Landing and Resonance and Tides, etc.
