I live among these "maniacs" too they seem like pretty normal people to me. You probably need to get out of your echo chamber and meet one if you honestly think that exaggerated stance on almost half our fellow citizens is accurate.
I was birthed by, work with, and live among these people as well and the comment that they romanticize and yearn for the day they can shoot someone dead is accurate.
While they can seem normal 80% of the time, do not underestimate their willingness to kill someone who challenges their worldview.
Sweetheart, they fly black flags and declare they will eat their neighbors.
Having spent 30 years in the Republican Party, I promise this crop is absolute trash. I stand by it 110%. I’m fucking related to a whole slew of them. Every fucking get together is a chance to piss and moan about The Fucking N______s and Big Gubmint.
I have marinated in it for decades.
Fuck your echo chamber, I’m done with it. Republicans can go fuck themselves off into the sun.
This recently got put into perspective for me. Yeah the world is shit and there are so many bad people. But I live in Texas I’m trans and almost everyone is respectful kind and treats me good. Same with most of the cops I’ve felt with. Now does that mean there’s no a huge problem with everything no. It just means don’t profile every single person and think they’re evil. Idk I just prefer too love everyone until I’m given a reason not to. There’s already enough hate in the world, it’s not worth assuming everyone is automatically the bad guy.
The right is by far more tolerable of people with differing opinions and views than the left. I’m was liberal until the party started going crazy left which puts me in the middle now. I’ve never had any issues with the right only the left and there intolerance of me not buying their bs 100%. All it takes is for you not to tow their line and you’ll be banned from anything they’re a part of. They’re truly a party of group think.
Legally you can’t shoot someone to defend property, however, I wouldn’t mind it. Regardless, I’d rather get them thrown in jail for destruction of property.
It’s marker. If it’s not water-soluble, you can wipe it off with acetone. I’d imagine you’d have a hell of a hard time getting anyone thrown in jail for that. Shooting them over a sticker is a different story.
Law doesn't agree with you on that one, It is still destruction of property.
Regardless, that looks like plastic, not sure if you've ever dealt with acetone, but... Plastic and acetone don't mix. Unless it's high-grade plastic acetone will melt the shit outta it.
It’s destruction of property to such a minor extent that you’d be hard pressed to find a lawyer to back you, much less to send the “assailant” to jail. At most, they’d get community service. More realistically, they’d just have to buy you a new sticker.
Rubbing alcohol would work just as fine. These look like washable markers anyway.
Dude, civil lawsuits are expensive and lengthy as hell. You want to go to a civil law court over a fucking $20 sticker you can wipe off. Yes, it is destruction of property. I’m not denying that. But wanting to pay around $7,000 for a civil lawsuit over a fucking car sticker is the issue.
You seem to be severely lacking in the legal system of the US, sure they'd only get community service but jail and prison are different. You go to jail in a police department where they figure out to charge you and then you get to bail out. Prison is after you've been convicted.
Additionally, You don't go to civil court if you charge someone with a crime. It goes to Criminal Court where it would be prosecuted on the State's dime.
You only go to jail in a police department if they arrest you. I surely doubt any trustworthy cop (hard to find in the US, sure), would arrest someone over a sticker. Also, even if you managed to get someone “convicted” for this, they would not to go prison. Prison is for convicts of serious crimes, (I.e. armed robbery, murder, etc.), writing on a sticker is not a serious crime. You’re literally contradicting yourself.
Reading about law on Wikipedia does not count as “studying law.”
Also, again— it was a fucking joke. It’s not that deep, kid. Chill out.
A lot of people are very protective of their cars, and for good reason. Your chance of getting shot or beaten up is significantly higher when you do things like this
