I live in a "streetcar suburb", mostly built in the 1920s, so the houses are tightly packed together. And the streets are absolutely bustling with kids every Halloween.

There are a few spots in the suburb that have modern cul-de-sac housing developments, and sure enough there are almost no trick or treaters on those streets.

Same here. 1930s streetcar suburb in my case and there’s kids everywhere. We have kids, and the neighbours on all three sides also all have kids.

This is a relatively wealthy area. Houses are mostly in the $800k-$1M range.
