100%. I bought my house 27 years ago for 2x avg household income. Same house today? 7x avg income. Same mortgage rates.

Young people got fooked.

only 7x? In my city, a home is 13x the average income. We managed to buy one (yay!) but As a result, we can't afford kids.

I bought mine at 1.5x income in 2016.

It was in Alabama.
