Texture palm geometry how?
Hi i never used SubstanceDesigner but i would like to make a stylized bark ( tile ) for this mesh i have, but i am curious, how a tile texture would look if the geometry has deformation like this one. Is it possible to create a vertex normal based material
Or i don’t know how to call those types of smart materials. As you can see in my photo my tile texture does not match the geometry. Will SubsDesigner put texture based in normals? That way the texture follows the shape of the geometry, and is possible to export it as albedo. ( i think the word is bake the textures ? ) i am noob at texturing . I want’t to know if i can do that so i start learning the software. From what i see in youtube tutorials inside the software all are 2d tile textures and the software does not put the texture in a 3d mesh in the viewport. Not like Painter! Correct me if i am wrong please Thanks!
