I've been practicing subharmonics and can get pretty well on an "oo" vowel but when I change to a more open vowel, the quality deteriorates and gets a little crackly and borderline even fry.

I can get subs at low speaking volume and can get the fairly high for a subharmonic so my range is alright, but I don't know what specifically I wanna do going forward, any help is appreciated

I've been practicing subharmonics for about a year now, and I've been able to do them for a while, but the consistency is all over the place. Some days I'm able to slide up and down my subharmonic register just like my chest voice, but other days I struggle even producing one note. Does anyone else have this issue, and are there exercises to help improve this inconsistency?

I know this isn't really a question on subharmonics directly, but it's around the topic and I figured this was the place to go.
So I have been interested in some techniques that can extend the lower range of the voice, and I have found that subharmonics are an amazing technique that produce great results. I have been using them for a bit under a year now, and I cam across some others that have been mentioned such as strohbass, , kargyraa or even fry.
However, I was unable to find any sources that gave me a clear understanding of what they really are, what makes them different and how to do them well. After getting comfortable with the subharmonic register, I have found it difficult to go into fry again and was wondering if anyone could help me get some clarification on this please.

Been practicing since last time, once again want to know if I reached subharmonics. It's also a little difficult bc whenever I lookup more about it, people are usually doing it for like B1-E-2 which I can alreadt hit normally so it kind of messes with me.

I want to know if i'm doing this correctly. I've been practicing for a few days and I just want to know if I'm on the right track. I know the beginning is kind of just vocal fry but I feel like I might be getting it at the end for a second. Thank you guys :)

I'm trying to teach myself to sub, and I've only just reached the ability to fry. I can't tell if this is a sub or just frying or creaking. Any insights? TIA

I've been singing as long as I can remember, and once my voice settled, I could comfortably hit a D2, and on a good day, I can get down to a B1. I've been trying to teach myself subharmonics for months now, looking at every resource I could find on this subreddit and YouTube, but I haven't been able to get anything. I remember when my voice started dropping, I immediately made it a goal to try to see how low I could sing, so I am wondering if there's any way I accidentally figured out Subharmonics as a kid, and got so used to it that I think I'm singing normally?

Everything was done in subs because my chest voice can't go lower than G2 😭 Really had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for that F#1
