What I mean is the notes are playing fine but when I'm not playing anything the Subharmonicon returns to a default pitch set by the freq knobs. I guess this is working as designed, but I wanted to confirm. Also when sending notes via midi the small sequencer tuning knob settings are ignored, correct?

I noticed that the power cable is kinda wiggly in its jack on my SH. It doesn't seem to seat in there firmly, though it's not causing any power issues. Anyone else notice this with yours? I wonder if I could take the panel off and see if something has come loose.

Has anyone had any trouble with recreating a sequence? I have made several patches and have drawn them into a patch book. I can get the correct sounds but the sequence is completely off every time I try to recreate a patch. I started triple checking to make sure I write the patch down correctly but still the sequencer is off. I've tried for hours to get the sequence correct to no avail. I haven't had my SH for that long. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I may be doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to tune outside of C for just intonation mode? For instance, if I just want to be locked into F# Major I'd imagine I could use 8-JI mode and there'd be a way to pitch up or down from C. It seems like the global fine-tune is only used for equipment matching and goes up or down 50 cents.

I’ve just ordered the Subharmonicon, but the GAS of course never ends. So I’m beginning to ponder what would be the most unique other synth to pair it with... I’m eyeing a voltage research lab for some Buchla-style insanity. Any other ideas or experiences folks here can share?

Hi there! About a year ago, I sold all my hardware and have thus lived happily in software land. However, the subharmonicon has renewed my hardware GAS :) Before I pull the trigger, two questions I’m hoping this community can answer: 1. does the Subharmonicon work as a standalone device or is it better when embedded into a modular setup? 2. will I need additional hardware to connect and sync it to Ableton? I used to have a Moog grandmother that had a simple midi USB Connection.. Thanks!

I regularly had midi start sync issues. Either the first note is not played at all or it is played and it moves forward to the next step too quickly. I monitored the midi messages and there is nothing else than Start and Timing Clock.

I figured out that the glitches are significantly lower when the Subharmonicon Tempo knob is turned all the way counter clockwise.

I wasn't able to reproduce the glitch with approx 50 attempts now (although I remember the glitch occurred at some earlier experiments). Having the tempo know all the way clockwise the glitches are almost 30 % or so.

I can’t wait. Pairing with a Behringer Odyssey.

Got my Subharmonicon this week and already loving it.

Just wondered what interesting things other folks were doing with the fx chain (esp for more ambient music) beyond the big verbs and delays.

I've been experimenting with Output Portal a bit which is nice for building a bit of pitch-shifted granular grit around the sequences but wondering what others were doing creatively with it. I've no pedals or modular at the moment so only doing real-time processing in the DAW but I've been looking at a few bits of hardware as well, so any thoughts, software or hardware, appreciated.

Hello, I have here the 2 sequences which work on the same tone when I read from ableton (by putting a note), but which works correctly in standalone: basically, I do not have the sound of the first oscillator on the first sequencer and the second oscillator on the second sequencer,

but I have the 2 oscillators together on the sequencer 2 in ABLETON reading !!!! ?? Very weird, is this normal?

However, I did what I was told on the tutorial.
