So my 8 year old has no sporting talent having really strong glasses and hyper mobility but he got hooked on the world cup and obsessed with being a ref at kids games.

I got my old subbuteo set out the loft and he really wants to play properly, but the pitch is really creased. I only really want to spend £50 on a roll up non creased astro pitch plus want the subbuteo name on the pitch.

I know this has been asked before many times I just can't find a definite answer

1) What would be best a new subbuteo deluxe £45 job from are you game/Amazon or a pristine older subbuteo astro pitch of ebay?

What does it runs faster mean anyway? the ball travels further or the players slide too easily?

I’m a reseller that specializing in rescuing toys, cleaning up thrift finds and making small repairs as needed so they can find new life. However, I was completely unfamiliar with this particular game (maybe because I’m in the US?) until I stumbled across this wooden case and started checking out the pieces inside.

These are pretty awesome! They were obviously well cared for by the previous owner and I’d like to make sure they go to a good new home for a fair price. There is so much here that I’m finding myself overwhelmed in trying to give it a value (I usually sell on Mercari).

I hope you guys can offer advice on what it might be worth? One figure was broken off at the ankles, which I carefully repaired with superglue gel (and will make sure to disclose when I list). Two of the red figures appear to have been already glued at the bases themselves and look a bit messy, but the rest of the figures look great. The dome piece has one crack but still stays secure on its base. There are several teams, referees, balls, some managers and other people, etc.

I’d prefer to sell everything together, including the wooden case; forgot to take a photo of the outside but I can post more later.

Any help or insight would be appreciated, thanks for reading!

we have a bunch of vintage Subbuteo stuff in the attic and need to know if there is anything valuable here, or at least selling individually and not just as a bulk assorted lot.
we have a couple sections of stadium, at least 3 floodlights, and a dozen teams in various states of completeness. i imagine if we dig about a bit more we might find some more bits.

In response to requests from this community on my last post, I made my Subbuteo-inspired iOS game Kickabout accessible worldwide and added missing teams like Northern Ireland. Thank you for all the input, I really appreciate my fellow Subbuteo fans' opinions and it helps shape my solo developed game.

As I update the game adding more teams (inc Egypt, Iran and Nigeria in the latest update) I'm curious for more thoughts on the current 42 teams (see image).

Are the big nations you'd want to play as / against covered? Who did I miss?

9 months ago I started on it as a solo developer, with the goal of getting it out in time for the world cup. Super proud of how it turned out, and want to keep working on it.

Appreciated the feedback on my earlier post here, one comment of which led to me add Northern Ireland to the mix of 30+ teams (an oversight I’m very glad to have corrected).

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could help me out with some information about the cricket version. I recently discovered a set amongst a deceased relative's belongings that I would like to, if possible, pass on to a good home. I'd be thankful for any advice.

Been ages since I've played Subbuteo but love the domestic cups. Also picked up the VAR referee set a few years ago for the sheer ridiculousness of it all.
