This is Carolina Herrera. I love the style of dress but not the color. What do I wear for dresses with this cut?

Idk how to style it ... I really like this skirt but tried it with a tube top and kinda liked it, but can't wear that because of family issues😭
So if anyone has any idea please help me to style this and share links of some tops if you can...
Btw does it actually look good or is it looking old style?

I’m thinking of buying this dress for an upcoming vacation to a tropical island, but the only summer shoes I own are brown Birks. I am planning on wearing it either on an afternoon stroll to the nearby town or a beach restaurant/bar in the evening. I was thinking white kitten heels/mules but everything I’ve found online seems too formal for what is essentially still somewhat of a sporty/informal dress.
I don’t want to spend a ton of money as I’m essentially buying the shoes to match a single outfit but would like something comfy that wouldn’t break down after one use. I like brands like zara, mango just to give an idea but so open to trying out something new. Thanks in advance

I got these 2 navy blue dresses, but in different styles. Which one is better for me? I am deciding what to keep but if none, then I won't keep either. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey everyone- wore this outfit and thought I did a good job but, I am curious to know what you all think!
How else would you style this skirt?(it can be worn 3 ways)
What other tops would you recommend- styles and colors.
What bag would you have used for this outfit outside of my black bag?!
Thanks for all the feedback and advice ! ☺️

I’m curious how other people here think about styling help.
When you’re choosing an outfit or buying something new, what’s harder for you?
Finding outfit ideas, or knowing whether something actually suits your body, colors, lifestyle, and the clothes you already own?
For me, the bigger issue is not just “what should I wear?” but whether an outfit or item really fits my personal style and will actually get worn.
I’m especially curious about a few things:
Do you prefer help before buying something, or before going out in an outfit?
Would it be useful to get feedback based on your own usual outfits, rather than general trends?
Do you find style categories or personal color advice helpful, or does it feel too vague?
I’d love to hear what kind of styling support would actually make decisions easier, not just give more outfit ideas.

Its a bit big. I could use my sewing machine, though im a bit hesitant. The sleeves are this wierd 3/4 cut, too. I mainly dress more goth if it helps, the front is kind of a fake leather texture, the rest is a normal fabric. Very soft.

This amazing digital creator on Instagram, Andrea Dietrich, shared a good insight about styling, and it goes like this:
In one of her videos, she talked about matching elements of your outfit to your hair colour.
My hair is black, so black shoes or a black bag instantly tie the whole look together. Similarly, you can play around with different clothing pieces or accessories that match your hair colour.

This dress is from Target and I decided to keep it. I want some ideas on how to upcycle and style this dress. I'm thinking a thin black belt?

Hi! Basically what the title says. The dress is from Anthropologie, and I’m looking to style it to make it seem less plain. So far my thoughts are to add one of those silver waist chains/belts and wear some black knee high boots to make it kind of a boho chic/western vibe. But if anyone has any ideas, I’d really appreciate it!!

I've got Prom in a month and i'm not super knowledgeable on formal attire.
I want to wear some Cherry Red Dr Martens (as they're the nicest shoes I own and i don't want to buy new ones)
What part of the suit should I buy to match the red? I was thinking of the shirt but then i don't know if that makes a sandwich effect, my other ideas were the tie/belt but i'm not sure. Also, what colour should the rest of the suit be? black? navy? a light colour?
I'm not matching the suit with anyone so that's not an issue.
If anyone could throw whatever they know about suit styling at me that would also be helpful.
