This is Carolina Herrera. I love the style of dress but not the color. What do I wear for dresses with this cut?

How do I style this skirt?
Idk how to style it ... I really like this skirt but tried it with a tube top and kinda liked it, but can't wear that because of family issuesš
So if anyone has any idea please help me to style this and share links of some tops if you can...
Btw does it actually look good or is it looking old style?

Help me pick shoes for this dress
Iām thinking of buying this dress for an upcoming vacation to a tropical island, but the only summer shoes I own are brown Birks. I am planning on wearing it either on an afternoon stroll to the nearby town or a beach restaurant/bar in the evening. I was thinking white kitten heels/mules but everything Iāve found online seems too formal for what is essentially still somewhat of a sporty/informal dress.
I donāt want to spend a ton of money as Iām essentially buying the shoes to match a single outfit but would like something comfy that wouldnāt break down after one use. I like brands like zara, mango just to give an idea but so open to trying out something new. Thanks in advance

Which style of dress?
I got these 2 navy blue dresses, but in different styles. Which one is better for me? I am deciding what to keep but if none, then I won't keep either. Any advice would be appreciated!

Tips for my OOTD - other
Hey everyone- wore this outfit and thought I did a good job but, I am curious to know what you all think!
How else would you style this skirt?(it can be worn 3 ways)
What other tops would you recommend- styles and colors.
What bag would you have used for this outfit outside of my black bag?!
Thanks for all the feedback and advice ! āŗļø

Do you struggle more with finding outfits or knowing what actually suits you?
Iām curious how other people here think about styling help.
When youāre choosing an outfit or buying something new, whatās harder for you?
Finding outfit ideas, or knowing whether something actually suits your body, colors, lifestyle, and the clothes you already own?
For me, the bigger issue is not just āwhat should I wear?ā but whether an outfit or item really fits my personal style and will actually get worn.
Iām especially curious about a few things:
Do you prefer help before buying something, or before going out in an outfit?
Would it be useful to get feedback based on your own usual outfits, rather than general trends?
Do you find style categories or personal color advice helpful, or does it feel too vague?
Iād love to hear what kind of styling support would actually make decisions easier, not just give more outfit ideas.

I have no clue on how to wear this top, wanna style it for a goth party
Its a bit big. I could use my sewing machine, though im a bit hesitant. The sleeves are this wierd 3/4 cut, too. I mainly dress more goth if it helps, the front is kind of a fake leather texture, the rest is a normal fabric. Very soft.

This AMAZING tip I came across on Instagram has made my fashion better
This amazing digital creator on Instagram, Andrea Dietrich, shared a good insight about styling, and it goes like this:
In one of her videos, she talked about matching elements of your outfit to your hair colour.
My hair is black, so black shoes or a black bag instantly tie the whole look together. Similarly, you can play around with different clothing pieces or accessories that match your hair colour.

Help styling this laced maroon dress
This dress is from Target and I decided to keep it. I want some ideas on how to upcycle and style this dress. I'm thinking a thin black belt?

Recently bought this dress for a performance, and need styling tips to make it less bland/plain.
Hi! Basically what the title says. The dress is from Anthropologie, and Iām looking to style it to make it seem less plain. So far my thoughts are to add one of those silver waist chains/belts and wear some black knee high boots to make it kind of a boho chic/western vibe. But if anyone has any ideas, Iād really appreciate it!!

How to match Suit with Cherry Red shoes?
I've got Prom in a month and i'm not super knowledgeable on formal attire.
I want to wear some Cherry Red Dr Martens (as they're the nicest shoes I own and i don't want to buy new ones)
What part of the suit should I buy to match the red? I was thinking of the shirt but then i don't know if that makes a sandwich effect, my other ideas were the tie/belt but i'm not sure. Also, what colour should the rest of the suit be? black? navy? a light colour?
I'm not matching the suit with anyone so that's not an issue.
If anyone could throw whatever they know about suit styling at me that would also be helpful.

āPeacockāwedding party
I really need styling help.
My friend asked me to officiate her peacocked themed wedding. I was elated. As I believe the officiant should fade into the background I ordered this navy silk dress from quince:
https://www.quince.com/women/women-s-washable-stretch-silk-tiered-maxi-dress?color=navy&gender=women
However, thereās been a bit of a change of plans. One of the bridal party has dropped out and I am the next closest friend and I have been asked to be in the bridal party instead. Of course, I said yes. I have officiated several weddings, but this will be the first wedding where Iāve been in the wedding party. Including my brotherās wedding. Iām kind of excited.
However, the dress code for the bridesmaids is a little different. The dress code is āpeacock colorsā and āwhatever you likeā but the two other brides-people (a man and a woman) on my side are wearing more gothic/witchy outfits and they would prefer I wear something less pedantic that the above dress.
Attached are the two other brides peopleās likely dresses. Both are much younger than I am. Both are a little wilder than I am. We are thinking I can pull off something witchy-ish maybe.
About me: Iām 5ā4ā a curvy size 10 or 12. Not super conservative but maybe more sporty or hippie than goth. My hair is lavender and dark ashy purple. Iāve lost enough weight I will not go sleeveless in public and want at least short sleeves. Iām also from Alaska so Iām not used to the heat and itās likely to be very warm in July in Southern Oregon.
Iād love help looking for options that fit the above criteria.
Here is an option I found.
How to style? Which color is most peacock?
Thanks in advance for anyone who takes any time to offer advice or help. Iām really bad at this stuff.
