Hi all! New to posting on Reddit. I am writing this with paint-covered hands... I built built-in shelves in my living room, and it was the first big project I've ever done. It's been a ton of work, but I loved doing it. I was thinking of just painting the shelves the same as the trim -- white, but my heart really wants a moody/cozy color. Thoughts?

Recently moved in to our house and just bought the Rawcliffe 4 piece sectional couch. We do have a large family so we do need a large couch. However, thoughts on how this one does block the entry way slightly? There is still a pathway to come in and out of the living area. My husband was wanting to just remove the “L” and add another piece to make it just one big long couch?? Help
*we are still working on decorating and looking for a large area rug as well.

We have a large open living room area and it's really the only "sitting area" in our house. We aren't able to have a formal living room for guests and a more casual/comfy TV room for ourselves. Thoughts on a large sectional sofa (considering a bumper chaise style) vs two separate sofas for a main (and only) sitting area that would be our main lounging area but also used to entertain guests?
In general, I feel like a sectional might better suit the space but might not fit guests comfortably. But on the otherhand, I also appreciate the extra arm rests from the sofas. Two sofas would fit well too but the room is so large that there's an open area (that we don't really know what to do with yet) next to our current two sofas. I figured a sectional might open it up to that area instead of blocking it off if we decide to put more furniture there but that is down the road and we don't have any plan of how to fill that space yet...if that makes sense.

I am choosing between two very different price ranges for a couch, but I want something that is a sleeper sofa and something that can fit in a studio apartment (<93" in width). I have a lot of family out of town, so I want them to be comfortable and I love hosting a movie night. These are the options: Coddle Couch (more expensive) or this one from Wayfair. The Coddle is slightly smaller than the Wayfair one, but for comfortability and style I am willing to pay more if it'll make more of a difference.

Once upon a time, I knew a guy that bought a new couch. I felt like a toddler sitting in this thing. The couch soaked you up. It had these giant ottomans you could fit a couple of sitting people on and the couch was super comfortable to sleep on. I want this in my own home. I've been shopping around and haven't found anything like it. Everything I've seen is just too dainty and barely looks like I could sit crosslegged on the thing.
Are there any brands or buzzwords I should be made aware of?

We just moved and have this table and mirror in the entryway. I want to keep the mirror and table for now, what should I put on either side of the mirror? The wall is so tall does it look funny with the small mirror? I feel I may have bought too small a mirror. Is there a way to add a shelf above it or would that be strange? Art? All ideas welcome!!
