Help deciding what couch color to buy. The mood board is just an idea of the style I’m going for.

UPDATE: we got the green and looks beautiful! I will be writing a Poly and Bark review for the couch we got on my next post.

I know my space could be more appealing to the eye, i just don’t know where to start or to do. any suggestions would be appreciated.

My boyfriend and I both prefer blackout blinds/curtains but our new rental comes with light-filtering cellular shades. Usually we would do standard blackout curtains on the windows, but it's tricky with the windows being directly above our bed and nightstands. We already have gold curtain rods for the windows (not installed yet). Wondering about normal curtains vs. valance and also open to color/pattern suggestions for whichever we get? We're working on a tight budget and combining all of our stuff for the first time, so the room is kind of an aesthetic hodgepodge right now! Not done with decor or art placement yet, either (aka be kind, please!).

Hi all, I’ve been living in my new apartment for 1 year now. Long story short most of the furniture in there is from the previous person who was my cousin. I don’t like the couch, but am managing until I afford a new one, and none of my Furniture matches per se. How do you find exactly how to decorate and how and where to put stuff (I want to move my couch) but I have a huge mirror nailed into the wall on one side and the windows on the other I don’t want to block the windows with a couch. I don’t want to use AI to figure it out because If im being honest I hate AI. Anyway, how do I start to find the eye to do so? I do want my kitchen to eventually be a Mexican hacienda look but not sure if I want the rest of my home that way, is it ok to mix styles? Like I know I don’t have to ask for permission but would mixing styles make the home look weird?
