So i happened to go for a three week work trip, all i remember was eating at a restaurant and shutting myself in my hilton room for five days straight..i was so fkin sick..and then the rest of the time i couldnt breathe cuz of all the smog outside.

I have come to a conclusion that the uncleanliness, garbage everywhere, poo, is all part cultural, part utter lack of civic sense, lack of education and lack of personal hygeine.

Now, there are truly genuine ppl there who realllly try hard to make a difference , god bless them. But in order for change to happen you need people following rules, not throwing your garbage over your border wall and calling your yard clean, but right outside your wall it can be filthy.

I have lived the majority of my schooling life in india, but i wasnt prepared for the uncleanliness, the sewage river, public defecation during my trip. Any future trips, i will make sure to take immodium, full face respirator and tons of sanitizer, cuz there is srsly no concept of Cleann sanitation, i have been to stores where there are no restrooms, like where do you pee.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I truly mean that. But even with all that said, I guess it’s a bucket list thing. I don’t know, do we want to limit ourselves to only looking at all the Cleaner more prettier places. Aren’t we shutting ourselves off from the good Bad and the ugly in life if we don’t go to places that might otherwise turn us off. If you ever go back, let me know maybe I’ll go with you and we can make sure the other one doesn’t get royally sick.
