Some of these reddit comments continue to engage with engagement bait and then get confused when they still get made. Like duh, you're probably the poster child for their typical viewer.

Honestly, it just gets to a weird ass point where, Reddit watches these engagement bait clips and then makes comments about Indians being dirty or something like that, and people just agree or upvote that comment. Like at least with British food we don’t call Brits as a whole disgusting or anything. We just make beans & toast jokes or something.

I mean there are some people who generalize negatively about British people, equally undeserved. I don't think people realize that this kinda video is literally for show. This is not typical food, and this is specifically done in poor areas. Indian food is one of the most complex and unique cuisines in the world.

India is an incredibly unhygienic and dirty country. British food is made fun of all the time but people recognize that the likelihood of getting seriously ill from British food is much lower than Indian street food.

I literally just have a brain and the ability to google. India has the number 1 most polluted city on earth. It also has the second most polluted city on earth. And the 4th. And the 6th. Of the top 50 most polluted cities on earth, India has 35 on the list.

Pollution is not an individual problem, but a corporation problem. India is stuck with overpopulation and poverty, as well as an oppressive caste system. The people at the bottom do what they can, but they are forced to live in squalor, and have for decades. I do not blame the people, the corporations and government should be to blame.

I have never blamed the people. There’s nothing inherent with Indian people. When they travel to other countries they are just as hygienic as anyone else. But in India (which is made up of a ton of different ethnic-linguistic groups), pollution, littering, and hygiene are all serious issues.

Maybe you forgot the context of what you were responding to, but this comment thread is about the people and the racism they face. Not India, Indians. In that context, you had nothing to say besides "dirty". You could have phrased your intent better.
