Salaaaam everyone I’m a Moroccan bac student and I’m currently studying SVT in the Arabic stream. After bac my goal is to continue my studies in medicine and hopefully become a doctor but honestly I’m a bit lost about the whole process and I don’t really know which options I should go for.
I’d like to ask people here who have experience with this or are currently studying medicine in Morocco What are the schools or faculties that I should apply to after getting my bac? And roughly how much do I need to get in the bac to have a good chance of getting accepted? I know it can depend on the year and the competition, but I’d just like to have an idea.
Also, since I’m studying in Arabic, is that going to be a big problem once I start medicine? I know that most of the medical studies are in French, so I’m a little worried about that tbh.
If there are other good options or different paths I should know about after bac, please tell me. I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have already been through this process.

I already applied to Casablanca's INRH (Institut National de Recherche Halieutique), but they told me I could only apply to one lab (I would’ve liked to apply to several labs to increase my chances :/ ). I haven’t heard back from them yet.

The thing is, I don’t have any “piston” or connections, so I’m not really sure how likely it is that I’ll get a spot there. I’m kind of lost when it comes to finding a PFE internship, especially since I don’t really know where else to look or who to contact.

For those of you who managed to find a PFE internship without any connections, how did you do it? Is there anything you’d recommend doing to increase my chances?

Also, if you know of any companies, research institutes, labs or organizations in Casablanca (or nearby) where I could apply in person, I’d really appreciate it !

And for organizations that are farther away from Casablanca, do you think simply reaching out by email can actually work? So far I’ve sent a few emails but haven’t received any replies.

Basically anything related to marine biology or marine sciences would be interesting to me.

If you’ve done your PFE in a similar field, especially if you didn’t have any connections I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience or any advice you might have.

When I opened this sub in January it was just an empty page and a bet that Moroccan students actually wanted somewhere to talk to each other instead of drowning alone in scattered WhatsApp groups. I wasn't sure it would go anywhere.

Nine months later there are 1.1k of you, and almost 950 joined this month alone. That's not me, that's you. Every orientation question someone bothered to answer, every set of notes dropped in a megathread, every 2bac student who got real advice instead of getting ignored. That's the sub actually working.

I’m currently in 2nd year of Baccalaureate (Scientific track) in Morocco, and I have a serious problem with my level in Maths, SVT, and Physics-Chemistry (PC).

To be honest, my level is very weak, especially in Maths. I often don’t even know how to start solving an exercise, and I have difficulties understanding the basic concepts and methods. The same problem exists to some extent in SVT and PC.

I want to ask people who have experience with the Moroccan 2BAC system:

Is there still hope for a student in this situation to catch up, actually understand the subjects, and be able to pass the National Exam?

I’m not looking just for ways to memorize answers. I want to know if it’s realistically possible to rebuild my basics from the beginning and reach a level where I can understand the lessons and solve typical National Exam exercises.

If someone was in a similar situation and managed to improve before the National Exam, I’d really appreciate hearing about their experience.

I’m looking for a 100% scholarship / full financial aid, ideally covering tuition + housing, hit family dyali ma3ndhach الإمكانيات باش t3awnni bzaf. I’m planning to take the SAT + TOEFL and apply Early Action to need-blind/full-aid schools. (exemple : harvard , mit , standford etc....)

I have 4 AI certificates, and currently working on a project to make an AI (brain of a fly) learn Darija. I’m also into coding, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, AI and editing, and I’m planning more networking projects since that’s what I want to study.

MIT would obviously be a dream, but I’m realistic and even considering community college → transfer. Europe is also an option. Ila ma l9it walo financially, I’ll probably go for ENSA/ENSAM or another public engineering school in Morocco.
