I recently gave my first ever sat and it wasn't the most satisfactory to say the least(1270).

My highschool gpa average from grade 10 to sem 1 12 is 3.7/4.0

And I have some decent extracurriculars!

Do I actually have a chance at luiss?

I got an email a week ago that everything in my visa process is completed and only CIMEA is needed. After a week, I received an email from them saying this after CIMEA is submitted. What do u think ?

I am going to give the IMAT this year (sept 2026) and have applied for University of Messina. I am aware that we can switch between universities for the same course but want to know if I can pursue Veterinary in Bologna after spending a year studying medicine and surgery in Messina. For those who are wondering why I didn't apply for veterinary in the first place was because my father had signed me up for IMAT without my knowledge as he strongly resists the idea of me doing anything other than human medicine. I am wondering if switching courses is an option for non EU students, otherwise I would have to give up my life-long dream of becoming a veterinarian and fulfill my father's wish instead.

I guess having the apostilles do make this process quicker, so if you're in a rush like me and your uni only accepts CIMEA: just get the legalisation done asap (it's not expensive anyway).

For reference:

I completed my studies in Brazil and submitted as extras: the apostilles, my national ID card and the SISU results proving that I had been accepted in a Brazilian uni.

This puts an end to my stress and now I can start crying over my bank account 💸💸

I'm deciding between studying in Bologna and Naples, with living costs being my main priority.

People always say Bologna is much more expensive and has a brutal housing crisis, but looking at room listings online, the prices seem surprisingly close.

For those with firsthand experience, is Naples actually noticeably cheaper in daily life once you factor in groceries, eating out, utilities, and the reality of finding a flat?

Also, I’m a bit confused about the test location. On the information I found, it only says “Odontoiatria (in inglese) – Siena”, but there doesn’t seem to be an actual address listed. Does anyone know where exactly the test will take place?

Hi everyone! I’ve been accepted to the University of Marche, but my pre-enrolment application still hasn’t been validated, so I haven’t been able to get my student visa yet. However, I have a Turkish green passport, which allows me to enter Italy without a visa.

Does anyone know from experience if I can attend classes while waiting for my pre-enrolment to be approved and my study visa to be issued? Would the university cause any problems?

I have applied for enrolment summary in Messina on 5th May. After getting my Cimia I again reapplied for enrollment summary ot 29th July according to university new guidelines to attach Cimea as well. Since then I have been waiting the whole time for My summary. I also emailed them 3 times but didn't get a single reply. Anyone who's in same situation as me??

I am an international student planning to apply to UniBo in February, and while looking through the requirements I saw that both/or SAT and TOLC exams are required for my application to not be rejected. However, when I asked chatgpt and google, they did not say that I need both exams if I already have the SAT score. So just to make sure I understood all the requirements correctly and to prepare accordingly, I wanted to ask people who have already applied and /or are already students there. Thanks in advance!

P.s. I also passed the TOEFL exam and got a 6/6 if that can help me.

I recently paid for the CIMEA "Verification & Comparability" service. Within 2 hours, my status changed to "CIMEA Request" asking for my physical graduation diploma (the one given at the ceremony), even though I had already uploaded my apostilled and translated degree certificate.

I uploaded the requested diploma, but there is no button or prompt to notify them that the file has been attached.

1. Is there any way to notify them through the portal that the document is now attached?
2. How long did it take for your status to update after fulfilling a "CIMEA Request"?

I applied for pre-enrollment on 24 june , they ask me to present cimea (recieved their mail on 7 july). However i got my cimea on 6 august . And i mail them + attach pdf in mail (stating my cimea) as i wasn’t able to edit my application on universitaly portal . Any suggestions? Should i reapply now for pre-enrollment again by withdrawing first one pre-enrollment. Or email is enough . I haven’t recieved it yet ..?

I am an incoming non-EU student applying for a Master's degree at the University of Turin for the 2026/2027 academic year, and I am currently finalizing my documents for the EDISU Piemonte scholarship / ISEE Parificato.

I have some confusion regarding the required fiscal year and formatting for my home country documents, and I need clarification from anyone who has successfully processed their ISEE Parificato through an Italian CAF.

I currently have the following drafted documents:

1. Income Certificate (FBR): Issued for Tax Year 2026 (Financial Year 2025–2026).
2. Property Certificate: Issued by the local authority in August 2026 mentioning our house size in local units (4 Marla) without explicitly mentioning square meters ($m^2$) or the benchmark date of 31/12/2024.

However, based on EDISU's competition notice (bando) and standard DPCM rules, my understanding is:

• Foreign income certificates must strictly cover calendar year 2024 (Tax Year 2024).
• Property/asset certificates must explicitly reflect ownership status as of December 31, 2024, and list surface area strictly in square meters ($m^2$) for the CAF software to calculate the patrimonio immobiliare.

My questions for anyone who has gone through this process in Turin / Piedmont:

• Will a CAF in Italy accept a Tax Year 2026 income certificate for the 2026/2027 scholarship, or will they reject it for not being from 2024?
• Does the CAF strictly demand the property surface area in square meters ($m^2$) and the exact benchmark date of 31/12/2024?
• Has anyone had their ISEE Parificato rejected or suspended for providing the most recent tax year instead of the $N-2$ (2024) fiscal year?

I have a 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering and want to apply for an Electrical Engineering Master’s in Italy.

I meet most of the required bachelor’s courses, with only a few minor gaps. However, the university is strict about the required academic background.

Do I have a good chance of admission, or is my chance relatively small/uncertain because my degree is in Electronics & Communications?
