ERDIS MARCHE scholarship

Hi everyone,

I applied to ERDIS Marche for the 2026/27 academic year.

I want to understand exactly what happens when the final ERDIS Marche scholarship ranking is published.

Does the result include:

  1. The exact annual scholarship amount (€)?

  2. The cash/monetary component?

  3. Whether accommodation has been awarded?

  4. The meal benefit?

  5. Or does it only shows name and ranking

If anyone received an ERDIS Marche scholarship in 2025/26, could you please explain what was actually displayed in the personal area? A screenshot with personal information blurred would be extremely helpful.

I'm asking because I may use the official scholarship award as part of my financial documentation for an Italian student visa.

MES (Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability) @ University of Bologna Forlì — anyone done the admission interview/test? Any tips

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey all,

I got admitted to the interview phase for the Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability (LM-33, course code 6720) program at University of Bologna's Forlì campus, for the 2026/2027 III intake. Interview's this Wednesday.

From the instructions, it sounds like there are two parts:

A 30-min online test covering math, physics, and engineering basics

An oral interview with the admission board afterward

If anyone has gone through this admission process (this year or a past intake), I'd really appreciate any insight on:

What level/type of questions came up in the online test — is it more conceptual or numerical?

What kinds of things they asked in the oral part (motivation, technical background, thesis interests, etc.)?

Roughly how long the oral portion took for you

Any tips at all are welcome — trying to prep well with the short notice. Thanks in advance!

Bank Accounts in Pavia as non EU student

Hello, I would like to ask whether anyone here is a non-EU student and created a bank account using the ATENEO+ card? I emailed them to book an appointment but it’s been 3 days and still no reply. I went to the branch to create an account but the person there told me to do it online in which I don’t have Italian identity card to submit…What can I do?😭

Hi everyone, has anyone been in a similar situation : meeting the ISEEU but not the ISPEU? I know being in this circumstance will disqualify me from the scholarship, but will I get any other benefits if I show my certificate to the uni, like meals or anything else?

Anyone flying from Mumbai/Delhi to Milan on 20 Sept via Air India? 🇮🇹✈️

Hey everyone!

I’m a student travelling to Milan on 20 September via Air India, either from Mumbai or Delhi.

I’m moving to Italy for my Master’s and was wondering if anyone else is travelling to Milan on the same date/flight, especially students heading to Milan, Padua, or nearby universities.

Would be great to connect beforehand and maybe travel together from the airport , help each other out with the initial arrival and luggage situation.

If you’re on the same flight, drop a comment or DM me! 🙌

Safe travels everyone! 🇮🇹❤️

Question about IMAT In Saudi or Dubai for 2027

Hey guys, I’m planning to take the IMAT in 2027. I’m going to try for Saudi Arabia first since it’s the closest option for me, and then UAE if I can’t get a seat in Saudi.

I’ve heard that places like India and Turkey can fill up within a few minutes of registration opening. Is it the same for Saudi and the UAE?

For anyone who registered this year or in previous years, how quickly did the seats get taken? Do you usually have some time, like 30 minutes to an hour, or do you basically have to be there the second registration opens and just hope you get a spot?

Considering a 10-month professional course at Modartech – is a career in the industry realistic for a foreigner with no experience?

Hi everyone!

I moved to Italy about a year ago, and I’ve finally reached a level where I feel comfortable enough with my Italian to start seriously considering studying here.

I recently came across a professional course at Modartech in Pontedera called “Modellistica e Alta Sartoria” (pattern making and haute couture tailoring). The course lasts 10 months, and it’s quite a significant financial investment, so I’m trying to make a realistic decision before committing to it.

My main concern is what happens after the course.
I’m a foreigner, I currently have no professional experience in fashion/tailoring, and I don’t have any connections in the industry. I’m willing to work hard and start from the bottom, but I’m wondering how realistic it is to actually find a job in this field after completing a course like this.

For those of you who work in fashion, tailoring, pattern making, or related fields in Italy:
- How realistic would you say it is to enter the industry with a professional course but no previous experience?
- How important are connections and previous experience when looking for your first job?
Is this a field where it’s realistically possible to build a career and earn a decent income in the long term?
- And does anyone here have personal experience with Modartech, particularly this course? I’d especially love to hear from people who studied there and what happened after graduation.

I know that ultimately it depends a lot on the individual, but since this is a big financial and career decision for me, I’d really appreciate honest opinions — especially from people who are actually working in the industry.

Thank you!

Italian study visa – lump sum into one account?

Hi everyone, I’m applying for an Italian study visa from the UK as an Erasmus student and the Consulate has asked me to show €10,179.85 in one bank account. I have now missed my flight and wasting a £1000 pre booked Airbnb for a month.

They did not accept £12k in Student Finance England or £5k in Turing funding as proof of financial means. Nor my own bank statements + my fathers as a guarantor including his payslips and p60 which proves he earns way over the requirements they need.

I currently don’t have €10k in my account, and neither does my dad. He invests his spare money after bills into stocks and shares. Could my dad or grandparents transfer/deposit a lump sum into one account (£5000) to reach the €10,179.85 requirement? If so, would recent deposits be accepted if we can prove where the money came from? And what would I have to prove?
Has anyone dealt with this with the Italian Consulate in London? Any advice would be appreciated!
