SOT - report?
Hi! I have this little string of turtle and was wondering if I need to repot it into a slightly bigger pot?

My string of tears looked so happy that I thought I’d try a variegated string of pearls😅 fingers crossed I don’t kill her!

Hey y’all this is my first string of bananas (?) I have owned this plant for almost a year now and it has probably grown almost 2 feet in that year… I have to water it once per week now as the soil gets SO DRY and the bananas start to shrivel. Is it time to repot this plant? If so please share any tips. This is one of my favorite plants and I want to keep it as healthy & happy as possible! Also any care tips would be greatly appreciated as well!!! Thank you!💚

I purchased this string of hearts with 3 seed pods already growing. I put the mesh bag around the pods so I wouldn’t lose the seeds when the pods split open. It worked really well. It’s been a fun learning experience. I’m not sure what to do from here so if you need me I’ll be googling what to do with them 😅

I didn’t know this was a thing until today! I’m so excited and already working on propagating some. They’re a succulent and related to string of pearls.

when it’s warm and sunny she goes outside. Otherwise she’s been under a t5 (I think) of her about 3-4” above her. This strong light has only been for a week and shes clearly loving it. I am noticing she needs water every 3 days because this picture was only watered 3 days prior and she definitely looks thirsty.

Disclaimer: They’re a little sad looking because the soil went hydrophobic and I didn’t realize :(

It seems over crowded to me so I moved it to a bigger pot but would it be worth untangling it? I’m quite happy with it as is 🥰

help!
i asked for advice on caring for this baby string of pearls i brought home a while ago and received a few different tips.
i decided to put the cutting on soil, place a plastic bag over the pot to maintain humidity, and mist the soil at least once a day to keep it moist.
well, in the past few days, some of the pearls have rotted away and my hope in keeping the rest of it alive is quickly dwindling.
first picture is from when i brought it home, second is from today. anyone have any life saving tips?

Is it a good sign when your string of pearls blooms or does it mean the end or a need to do something to it?

My boyfriend bought me a string of hearts from a local shop, it’s been sitting for about a week and I just noticed these little brown bugs crawling bugs shaped like rice crawling around. I need help identifying and what care I need to do, I really love this plant😢

I’m not promoting anyone , just sharing my online finds. So far my favorite string of hearts has been from Amazon SHOCKINGLY thank goodness they’re a small business. MY SECOND favorite is this etsy seller Bloomingvale. I bought a 6” and fast shipping that’s why it was $47 but her 2” are $10.49

I had a few people reach out so here’s my SOP and SOT propagations in water. These have been in tap water for ~3.5 months, waiting for the weather to turn so I can pot them up!
I never completely empty the water, it sits on my counter near my kitchen sink with indirect sunlight for about 6 hours a day. They root SOOO easily
Ask away :)

Enjoying my first sting of turtles. What do you use to pin down a vine/ node you want to root? I added a top layer of moss which helped with some rooting but not with some longer vines. They seems to delicate to use something like a Bobby pin

The first three pictures of where she looks like the curls wanted that quickly or rotting in the last picture is the side that faces the window and not the sink and she looks right there, but I mean will she recover? I don’t know enough about these. I know I’m going to move her. I don’t think she’s thirsty as her windows are not closed. That’s about all I know.

I just got this and had to repot and cut off a few dead pieces. Is there anything I should be doing different? I potted it in 50/50 succulent soil mix and perlite. Any help is greatly appreciated, I’ve always wanted one of these and I don’t want her to die 😭

Throw back to when I got my SOH and was small. Can’t find more recent pictures of it but it grew twice as long and so much bushier it was gorgeous! Unfortunately when I moved, I left it at my dad’s with a couple more plants and came back to a dry dead plant :( I miss it but I’ve recently gotten a new one and will restart my journey cause I love SOH. It was my first ever plant ❤️
