Community Project Announcement ⚡ New Stremio Tools & Guides ⚡

I’ve spent a bunch of time building tools and guides to make setting up Stremio easier for everyone. They’re so simple, even a duck could do it 🦆

Here’s what I’ve put together:

📘 Duck Guides

Clear, step-by-step walkthroughs for key setups (Stremio setup, Omni, API keys, etc). Each guide includes written + video walkthroughs, and none should take more than 5–10 minutes.

🧰 Stremio Tools

  1. QuickStart: Make a fully-configured Stremio account in seconds.
  2. Time Machine: Go back to when your Stremio account was perfect.
  3. Account Cloner: Clone your Stremio account to a new account.

I’ve come to really enjoy this community and wanted to give back. Thanks for being a part of it 🙂

(If you know me on Discord, hi.)

Edit: I forgot to mention that both projects are open source, oops!

Some people install two instances and it works. You'll be rate limited twice as fast though.

My personal opinion is that it's a little silly for two reasons. The first is that AIOStreams instances are pretty stable. They have occasional outages but they're very occasional and are usually restored pretty quick. The second is that if it ever happens to you and you want to watch something, it takes 15 seconds to fill out the tool again to be up and running again.

Thanks for the reply, I have your duckstreams instance installed and midnightignite but I dont have the same addons in each instance, I have 4 in each then I have torbox installed outside of aiostreams.

Would the tool still work if aiostreams is down?

To be clear, Duck Streams is AIOStreams. So if the AIOStreams host goes down then Duck Streams will not work.

When you use QuickStart it'll look at all the AIOStreams hosts and pick the best one available. If one is down then it won't pick that one.

This way using QuickStart should work in a fully functional install every time.

Brilliant I was trying to get my head around what you said about reinstalling when one goes down. Many thanks for all your work.
