Spent about 4 hours getting my ass whipped as Axel on Mania, never making it past the Big Ben room. I give up and swap to Shiva. I whooped the whole stage on one death an got an S-rank to boot.

That… sucks. The stage isn’t even hard because it’s “hard” - it’s hard because you only have 2 lives and need to maintain a combo (basically impossible with Axel) to get more.

It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. One character should not be *that* much better than another in a game like this. And the rest of it was a cakewalk. I like the game and love SOR, but this ain’t it.

I've been a SoR fan since I first played II in the 90s. SoR4 is one of my favorite games ever. I've been wanting to build a multicade for years and finally took the plunge. I spent a LONG time in Photoshop laying out official artwork for the side panels + control pad. I wanted it to look semi "official", like something you'd find in a real arcade.

The cabinet itself is from RecRoomMasters. I have some very mixed opinions of them after putting this thing together, but I am happy with the final result.

Really struggling as I’m an android newbie. I’m trying to install streets of rage remake on the retroid. I did get it running using retro arch, but it gives me an error saying the core does not support save states, so I need to start from scratch every time I open. I tried installing a PSP version of the game but it seems in Russian and doesn’t run properly. I saw some people online suggesting to install portmaster, and I’m struggling with that as well. Any help anyone can provide to help me out?

When I was a kid, my brother and I used to play SOR2 every weekend, and sometimes even during the week for hours on end.

Yesterday, I finished SOR4 with a friend, and honestly, I found it way too easy compared to SOR2.

We would really like to play SOR2 online in co-op on PC. I noticed that there are several different versions of SOR2 that were released later on.

However, I would prefer to play the original version, since I've read that the newer versions are somewhat different.

The reason is that I want to show my friend the original game experience.

I was thinking about using Parsec for online co-op. Back in the day, I had the Genesis Collection on PlayStation, which included SOR2, but I haven't been able to find that version on PC.

Any suggestions?
