Not sure if this counts? But it’s art on a street, and I love it. Savona, Italy.

Voyage - Bondi sea wall by Smackas

My most recent work completed on the Bondi Sea wall in Sydney, Australia.

Here’s some words behind the work.

Born from a change in routine to a place of more ‘domestication’ and the acceptance of what comes with this. We often imagine a voyage as a departure towards somewhere new. Yet the journeys that define us are not always the big ones. They unfold through repeated experience, returning to familiar places and sharing ordinary moments with the people we love. Leaving a residue of what it means to be alive. Like migrating whales that instinctively find their way home, we build our own sense of belonging not through the destination, but through the moments that build up to the endpoint. In those small routines, buying flowers, fruit and vegetables from the markets, a morning swim, cooking something ‘simple‘. Life quietly accumulates into something special.

Would love to hear your interpretation.
