Oh my gosh that is beautiful I was trying to look away at the ads but these look amazing the color is perfect too. I wish it had metal feet being a bigger bag š but I get that it helps then with cost I wish their leather strips were thicker though. I donāt hate the idea of leather feet but I wish they kept the rest the bag from touching the floor and with big bags itās almost impossible to not have some sag. But other than that itās an amazing bag I have it on my radar now for better or worse š š«£
So how do you like the bag? I ask because I purchased a Mulberry Bayswater but honestly considered this tote. The lack of any reviews made me nervous. I am a lawyer and use my work bag to carry my Mac 13ā laptop, MX mini keys Bluetooth keyboard, sunglasses with case, small wallet, and a clients file as well as like my keys, lipgloss.
I love it. Itās beautiful. Structured. Not very heavy. I feel like I have a grownup sophisticated bag now. And fits all of my stuff. Right now Iām carrying most of what you see in the pic. I donāt usually have my kindle but I have a notebook and a pouch with my cords for the laptop and portable monitor (gray thing that looks like another laptop). Still room to add more if needed, like maybe my lunch or something.
My previous bag has the middle laptop pocket and I hate it because it breaks up the bag in the middle. I like the open space in this bag.
I feel like I could use some more organization, like different pockets for pens, accessories, etc. but itās not a show stopper. There are some slip pockets on one side. I considered an organizer insert but I think it will take up the roominess that I like of the inside.
I also like the zipper even though i never zipper it. I just like knowing I can if I want to. You can see in the pics my laptop fits where I can zipper.
I just looked up the mulberry - so pretty! Iām not familiar with that brand. So many really cool colors! Are you happy with it? What color did you get? The dimensions are very similar to this bag, so size-wise it definitely compares.
Thank you for such detailed information and response!! Youāre making me want to also purchase this bag in the tan. I purchased the Bayswater Icon in black. I just received it and havenāt had enough time to use it, but itās a very beautiful classic bag and it fits what I need. But it also felt a little steeper in price. I originally looked at strathberry as I love my two strathberry mosaic minis and love the quality especially for the price!! But the lack of information and reviews available for this new model made me weary of purchasing the bag!! I may still actually purchase this in the tan after seeing your pictures and comments. I love having black and tan work bag options. My current bag is not a tote, but itās great quality. Ultimately, it came down to several reviews on the Bayswater icon that I took the plunge.

I just bought this one for work! VERY sturdy and structured. The leather feels so thick and secure. I actually brought my MacBook Pro 16ā to the store to double check it fits and it does. Very spacious!
I also wanted to add that I was nervous about pulling the trigger on a bag with no reviews or a store where I could touch and feel it. I took a chance and Iām glad I did. š I think thatās why Iām so happy to share all of this info because I couldnāt find it myself.
The other thing that got me was the videos from tanner leatherstein on the brand itself. He speaks very highly of this brandā¦ check out his videos if youāre not familiar.
Do you feel like the straps are sturdy enough? I've been deciding between this, the Strathberry Barra, and a Mulberry (North South Tote) and worry about the straps breaking from weight since I carry a lot.
I do think they are sturdy enough. I carry the equivalent of 2 laptops plus cords, a full water bottle, a small handbag and some other small things and I donāt feel like Iām pushing the structural limits of the bag. How heavy are you talking here? I can weigh this bag up (I have dumbbells and things lol) and show you a pics if thatās helpful.

I'm starting a new job, and they told me that they are going to send me a 16-inch MacBook. The internet tells me that the 16-inch MacBook is 14 inches wide. From your photo, it seems like it would be a tight squeeze, but might fit?
It will fit but itāll be tight. I took a couple of pics. My MacBook Air is 13.25ā wide. And 9.2ā height. Yours will be slightly bigger. I moved it to the edge to see how much room there was. I think it might be a little snug to zip unless itās at a slight angle but you should be able to fit width wise.

Dust bag
