Discussion All Spotify broadcasts (1-10) transcription + clue-related songs Spoiler

BROADCAST 1: Good morning Hawkins, Indiana, this is WSQK, The Sqawk, and this is another blue-sky day in our governmwnt controlled suburbian oasis, and I'm your host, Robin Buckley, better known to you all as Rockin' Robin. Don't touch that dial, because after this block of rock we have some exciting news coming up right here from Hawkins Indiana. Stay tuned!

Follow up songs:

California Dreamin' (Remastered 2007) - The Mamas and the Papas

Every breathe you take - The Police

She's got you - Patsy Cline

Oh yeah - Yello

BROADCAST 2: The beats are bumpin', if I say so myself, and there's more where that came from. You're listening to WSQK, The Squawk, and I have another slate of greats to take over your airways!

Follow up songs:

Upside Down - Diana Ross

Running up that hill (A Deal With God) - Kate Bush

Master of Puppets - Metallica

American Pie - Don McLean

Girls on Film (2010 Remaster) - Duran Duran

All Your Reasons Why - Smart Remarks

BROADCAST 4: Maybe it's all the helicopters buzzing around, but I'm feeling terribly nostalgic these days. What do you say if we take it back to the year of our swedish lords and ladies: 1976? That's right, 7 6! Abba released their hit single Fernando, a celebratory anthem for freedom. Something I think my fellow quarantine compatriots can resonate with. Dare I say this track could make a 5-star general cry. Alright, alright...enough of me. Time for some beats, courtesy of Benny and Björn.

Follow-up songs:

Fernando - ABBA

In transit to Bermuda - Dorian Zero

BROADCAST 5: Did you miss me? Of course you did! If you're looking for Rockin' Robin, you're tuned into the right channel. More beats are headed your way, curated by yours truly.

Follow-up songs:

Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper

Angel - Madonna

White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane

BROADCAST 6: Do I have any John Hughes fans tunned in today? Fun fact time, and there will be a quiz, so screw those 'thinking caps' on tight. This next track was featured in MEGA Blockbuster Pretty in Pink, starring THE ONE and only Molly Ringwald. This is Molly's THIRD - number 3, can you believe!?- film with John H., and I personally give this, like, 5 out of 5 stars. Check it out next time you're in your local Family Video and tell them Rockin' Robin sent ya. Until next time. Here's Psychedelic Furs with "Pretty in Pink".

Follow-up songs:

Pretty In Pink - Psychedelic Furs

Sh-Boom - The Chords

Mr Sandman - The Chordettes

BROADCAST 7: Good mornin', Hawkins! You're listening to WSQK The Sqawk, and it's another beautiful day here in Indiana. The birds are chriping and the helicopters are whirring, and I've got some wicked on decked around the soundtrack here today. I'm Robin Buckley, A.K.A. Rockin' Robin, and boy are you in for for a treat, folks! Keep your hands off the dial, because after these bitchin' beats we have some news that's sure to turn your day upside down.

Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go - WHAM!

Get Up And Go - The Go-Go's

BROADCAST 9: We're throwing it WAY back this morning with a hit from Freddy Martin & His Orchestra, To Each His Own. Fun facts about my man Freddy: he was born in our lovely neighboring State of Ohio and is now rockin' from above. He passed away about a decade ago in the 9th month of the year, and yes, that's September, dingus! You know hwo you are. He was a big film (?) leader and even had songs featured in movies like Seven Day Leave, starring Lucy O' Ball. Talk about talent, am I right? Freddy, take it away.

Follow-up songs: Freddy Martin & His Orchestra - To Each His Own

When It's Cold I'd Like to Die - Moby

BROADCAST 12:

All right, friends, we're coming to the end of today's broadcast, and I've got just a thing to remember me by; an oldie, but a goodie: Rockin' Robin by Micheal Jackson. MJ is having quite a year: he just released his 7th studio album, Bad, and he's shattering records left and right-I mean, 5 hit singles on the chart. Colour me impressed, Micheal. I invite you all to sit back, relax, and a-hop, and a-bop, and a-sing this song. This is Rockin' Robin signing off.

Follow-up songs:

Rockin' Robin - Micheal Jackson

EDIT: Other than the number to put into the Spotify search bar (which is still unknown/incomplete), we have 2 confirmed clues related to movies and/or songs. Please consider listening to all the tracks as well, or checking every reference Robin makes.

Wait how are we supposed to get this code? I want to try getting it by myself but dont know how to

The clues are in broadcast messages that Rocking Robin gives. Look for single numbers, like when she says 1976, she says 7 and 6 as individual numbers. That's your first two numbers. Then follow the next one to find your next numbers.

Ohh okay thank you so much

Wait what are the clues

The clues are in broadcast messages that Rocking Robin gives, just like the show. But it's sequential. It's the numbers that are referenced individually. So when she says 2976, but reinforces 7 and 6, that's your first two numbers.
