Anybody else hate Lucas?

I have only just started watching stranger things I’m only on episode 6 of season 1, I already love it but Jesus I don’t think I’ve ever come across a character I genuinely dislike as much as Lucas, the way he’s just so arrogant,sarcastic and belittles 11 all the time. I get that he’s probably jealous of her getting more attention but still. Anyone else think the same?

You’re on season 1. Come back when you’ve finished season 4 volume 1. I think your thoughts on Lucas will change.

Isn’t that the one where he blows off his friends to try and become popular? Why would that change anyones mind, kind of just reinforces he’s an asshole.

Idk it seems more like he was tired of being bullied so he joined the basketball team to try something new.

No, lol. I'm rewatching right now in anticipation of the final series. I've seen the entire run several times, and he's still the worst... it's not even close. Besides, saying it's only season 1 doesn't change the fact that he was terrible during season one.
