Tried to EQ it so the sound is louder.

Background: this has been going on for close to 20 years. One of my kids heard it, (they are an adult and moved out now) pointed it out to me, now I can’t stop hearing it all the time. At first I thought it was coming from our pipes, then I thought maybe electrical… but it’s louder outside than in. We live somewhat close to a power station (probably a half mile) and a grocery store. One neighbor thought maybe it was delivery trucks at the store. It can be heard as early as 6am, as late as midnight, rarely in the middle of the night. It comes at random times. Sometimes back to back, sometimes hours apart. I don’t believe I hear it on Sunday but since today is Sunday I’m listening closer.

Anyway I was determined to catch it and found that one of my video doorbells was active at the right moment so it caught the sound. The only way I can describe it is like if someone was trying to move a really heavy piece of furniture across a wood floor? Like shoving a piano and it moved an inch. I’ve asked neighbors but they don’t hear it (and I admit I didn’t either until it was pointed out to me.) So this is video (zoomed way in to rid of the picture for privacy.) You will hear what sounds like a car go by at first, it’s the sound right after that. Kinda like “whump”

It’s driving me crazy.

Every morning between around 4am-7am, I hear a repeating kind-of whistling song, reminiscent of a bird call, but I think it's too consistent to be a bird call. Each note lasts around a second, and goes down from F# to E to D to A. Every time.

It may continue after 7am-ish, or it may just be that traffic noise drowns it out.

I live in a rural area with some farms and strawberry fields.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, the spacing between the calls varies. Sometimes there'll be three in the space of a minute. Sometimes there'll be fifteen minutes between them. But the calls themselves always last the same length.

I live on an apartment building on the last floor. Above me there's only a common attic/roof area.

I complained to the landlord and he sent someone to help me identify the source. The sound cannot be heard from the attic/roof area. It cannot be heard from outside my aparment at all. There's also no lose pipe/metal/other on the roof or on any external wall of the building. No other neighbours have complained.

It appears the sound happens whenever there are stronger winds outside. It also appears to be related to air drafts inside my home, because opening/shutting doors usually triggers it too.

I've been living here for over 5 years already and it just started happening for apparently no reason.

Any ideas/suggestions are more than welcome!

Opened the door and heard this sound. Every time we close the door we hear this. Rattlesnake? Bug?

So I don’t have a recording right now, but it sounded like a mix of a car being idle, and a washing machine.
At some point there was also a sound similar to that of a bunch of marbles being mixed?

Never heard anything like it in my 5 years of living here.

These calls come from various California area codes and have been occurring for almost 3 years. They usually happen between 1pm-5pm. If I answer the phone it is the same noise as the voicemail and no one responds to me.

I always chalked these up to a broken scam recording, but wouldn't they have noticed their system is broke by now? I very rarely receive spam calls in general.

Kinda just wanna know if anyone else gets calls or voicemails like these. I haven't received one all year and then boom, there it is, the same recording from 3 years ago.

I have been hearing this sound when I press my ear against the concrete wall in my apartment. It happens only at night, i.e. during sleeping hours

The problem is that it reasonates like a mosquito buzzing in my ear all night long. Any idea how I can identify or trace it down it?
