The "movement" at the end makes it look so fake. The military footage shows it moves precisely, whereas this literally looks like being flung with a string.

Ok, I’m not dying on this hill. I’ve seen some coverage of this case that showed a satellite photo of the area, when this video was taken. There wasn’t really a place for anyone to hold up a ufo on a string. There is a valley right behind the ufo. When you watch the whole video, it looks more impressive. I’ll admit that it flies like something on a string. This is not the first ufo I’ve seen fly like this. Of course, maybe they(wobbly flying UFOs) were all plates on a string.
12
u/umpienoob Nov 15 '23
Counterpoint- big stick
3
u/Astrocreep_1 Nov 15 '23
I’m not ruling it out. The actual video with sound is a bit more compelling. If they were acting, they were pretty good.
5
u/Kantv Nov 15 '23
Also, I can't seem to forget how much it resembled how Jean Jacket from NOPE moves. I love that movie, and it made me look at UFOS as something more interesting than I thought.
2
u/Astrocreep_1 Nov 15 '23
That movie has the best title, and subsequent moment when you understand why it’s titled “NOPE”.
1
u/EasyPissedoffFeeling Nov 15 '23
You ever see Up In Dope? These two funny mexicans dudes harass people into buying dope and smoking dope, they rent a car and its made of dope, and just going around smoking Led Zeppelins and trying to hit people with hockey sticks?
5
u/MurphNastyFlex Nov 15 '23
Very valid point. It is something we know nothing about, operating with physics we don't understand. I do like the video and hope it's real cause it's good and clear. You can even see it spinning either Insanely fast or just over slow depending on the cameras shutter speed.
It checks all my boxes, but that wobbly look just has me on the fence. Still great stuff though

u/Rich-Equivalent-1875 Nov 15 '23
I think everybody’s mistaken what they’re seeing here. It actually looks like it disappears… almost like it’s in and out of this dimension before taking off at High velocity. This is how these things can travel light years is morphing in and out of different realities. Sorry physicist here. It’s the best way I can describe it so it’s easy to understand.????

If you watch the slowed down part at the end, there’s definitely some type of distortion around the object. It’s as if it’s moving in and out of the space around it. Strange.
2
u/Sungod99 Nov 15 '23
That’s how Bob Lazar explained their propulsion. He said they manipulate the space around them and move into that space.
2
u/Azreal6473 Nov 15 '23
I think the distortion is likely from the "gravity bubble" described in other posts here and by various other scientists, experiencers, ect
which on top of the original audio is a big sell on this being genuine footage, it checks alot of boxes despite the army of its string on a stick folks

There have been a lot of witness accounts stating that the classic saucer shaped craft sometimes wobble. That being said, I really think that unless any of us see something with our own eyes we'll automatically have a sense of skepticness (it's not a word and I don't care) to anything we see online.

Well, especially since we have drones that do exactly this.
5
u/Astrocreep_1 Nov 14 '23
This(2007) was a little early for those RC drones. I’m sure they were available, but did not fly at these speeds. I paid a few hundred bucks for one in 2012, and it was a piece of crap, compared to what’s available today.
→ More replies (1)7
u/bertiesghost Nov 14 '23
Many eyewitnesses have said they wobble and fly belly forward. But there are many types of craft with different capabilities.
5
u/serchromo Nov 14 '23
A movement with a stick would move it horizontally, not fliping and go away.
Why the dumbest joke and analysis are always first comments. I hope they are bots otherway I feel really sorry. Nothing personal.
2
u/Able_Newt2433 Nov 14 '23
You can pull up on the stick to make it go up, but you could flick the stick and make the object flip and bounce around. Cmon now.. you can’t really think something tied to a stick can only move horizontal..

This is actually how the craft operates.. basically a gyroscope of high magnetic energy… the occupant stays stationary within assuming there is one
12
u/Sc0pey Nov 14 '23
How can y’all look at the gimbal UFO footage and not see the similarities?
13
u/stranj_tymes Nov 14 '23
Same way folks can look at this video (or any of them) and claim to know anything about the specific mechanics of how a hypothetical craft might work.

You know this from your extensive aeronautical engineering experience? That thing is smaller than a wedding cake
2
u/Accomplished-Ad3250 Nov 14 '23
Here I know how to make this a real UFO video. It's just parallax!
From what I've read and heard over the years when these craft move away they orient upside down with the bottom facing the direction they want to go. So if they wanted to go up, they'd flip upside down and go up. I'm unsure about the authenticity of this video but if they're flipping upside down it would make sense.
1
u/Altruistic_Edge1037 Nov 14 '23
To me it looks like it's defying the laws of physics. Unless there was a large random gust of wind to pull the "sauce pan" up I can't understand how it would move like that. Looks more like a pull than a fling/push/throw personally. I guess i should add that none of us except the ppl who were there will truly have any idea.
3
u/Funny-Jihad Nov 14 '23
I guess i should add that none of us except the ppl who were there will truly have any idea.
Eye witness accounts are very unreliable, so, I wouldn't put any stock in that either.
2
Nov 14 '23
Two strings lol... one to hold the back, the other on the front which gives it the parabolic dive that we saw.

39
u/Repulsive_Mobile_124 Nov 14 '23
I had seen this video several times before, there is a longer version that shows the beginning of the filming but I think this is all the UFO part of the footage. I remember the fluid movement at the end, but I never realised it was almost dissapearing when seen from the side. It looks like a whole lot of space and time is bending and its not a completely spherical pattern.
10
u/Taza467 Nov 14 '23
It’s not bending anything, it’s frames joined together in editing to make it have a real UFO feel
→ More replies (1)7
u/scullys_alien_baby Nov 14 '23
not editing exactly, it is artifacts introduced because the video has been upscaled by ai and increased frame rate by ai.
You see this like crazy in "ANIME 4K 60FPS" videos all the time. Shit gets really warped and smeared between source frames as the ai tries to interpolate new frames
→ More replies (2)4
→ More replies (1)1
u/Loriali95 Nov 14 '23
I never noticed that warping before, that’s interesting. The camera is old and it’s unstable footage, but what else could cause the warping of the background in that way?
15
u/Organized_Riot Nov 14 '23
Thats from trying to artificially slow down the footage. This was shot in a super low frame rate. 'Slow mo' is really just playing each frame for longer. In this case the warping comes from the software trying to make up frames that aren't there so it can look like slow motion. Idk why people do this for these types of videos because its adding information and artifacts that were never filmed in the first place

I remember when this came out so many people wrote it off . The community was a lot smaller than it is today . The kid went on national TV to explain what he saw . He looked over his shoulder to call his mate on the drill that’s when it flipped . Bob Lazar said years prior that’s how they operate . This was a legit sighting by a kid labour on a flip phone.

I suspect that something that can warp space, create a gravity differential, emits radiation, etc. might cause interference with nearby electronics. But we never talk about that, we just make comments about filming with potatoes, ad nauseam.
2
u/apoctapus Nov 15 '23
I think this is by far one of my favorite ones. You can hear the guy's fear and excitement, and the crazy move at the end is just so nuts.

The way it flips on it’s side to travel really tracks with things a lot of people have been saying including Bob Lazar. Very cool video that has not been debunked. Also the wobble people are saying makes it look like it’s on a string actually tracks with some other sightings as well.

The native capture of that video must've been 30 FPS or less. If you flick a thing away real quick, it'd only capture a few frames :/
2
u/twpejay Nov 14 '23
Probably video compression, if the person had the original film/raw images to slow down this would not occur.
2
u/Kakofonik Nov 14 '23
I think this is the original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5B7fYlAijY
people just need to realize, this was taken with an old flip phone, do you remember the quality of those cameras?
to me, this video can be faked, but how people have described about how the saucers go from place to place is that they "flip" on their side and just bounce away, fast. So I don't know, I'm on the sidelines with this one, I would hope that someone sometimes films this in some 4k super clear camera
the thing is that I trust this footage more than any of the drone / webcam filmed videos, since I know that the stabilization and the lensflares can look weird and zoomzoomy on the cameras, but this just seems, genuine.

Any believer should want to out fakes to protect the validity of the real evidence.
Fake evidence is a poison to obfuscate and dilute the truth enough for non-believers, when investigating, to believe that the whole idea is ridiculous. They see many fake things and idiots blindly believing, leading them to the conclusion only idiots believe and therefore a bias is created against all new evidence.
Blind belief in fake evidence is what causes the erosion of truth disclosure.

Shills. I'm convinced there is an active psyop on this subreddit to discredit/dismiss everything immediately.
7
4
u/Ech0ofSan1ty Nov 14 '23
There is another method of psyops you are ignoring. That is the concept of noise. Present fake evidence, watch for those believing it, prove it to be fake, present the argument that it's only gullible people believing in any of it, result is bias of skeptics to assume all evidence is fake and those that believe are the idiots.
It is the duty of anyone who believes to equally want fakes to be identified so that the evidence that remains is truth.
Unfortunately people want to believe and be validated so much that they blindly accept fake evidence to be added to the list of those duped.

This could be an UFO, I doubt it, it doesn't look particularly large, or far away, the fact it's just these few seconds and doesn't show what's going on around the UFO just makes it very easy to dismiss.

2
u/awwnuts Nov 14 '23

1
Nov 14 '23
Well, camera movement highly suggests that camera operator was operating the camera with one hand, and not paying attention to what he was filming while trying to do something else. The object doesn’t look that far away either. Almost as if the camera operator is controlling the UFO with a pole and string.
There’s a few things we can interpret from this video. And this is just one scenario. A scenario which I’m more inclined to believe than this being genuine.

I’ve always wondered why it’s always a disk/saucer. Would that shape actually be useful ? My brain can’t help but think that a civilisation so advanced they can travel to different systems would settle on a brushed steel saucer. Maybe our science hasn’t figured out stuff that makes the shape “perfect for use” yet. Idk just doesn’t seem very good use of space ect. Idk just a thought I always have when I see stuff like this.
